1. Field of Invention
The present invention relates to a staff designed to provide essential components for survival purposes.
2. Description of Related Art
The need for a survival or emergency kit while hiking, camping or enjoying the outdoors is important. Many times individuals may be enjoying the outdoors through various activities and find themselves lost or stranded in the woods. At such time it is important to have certain tools and accessories to survive for a period of time until help arrives. Further it is important to have these essential items readily available in a light package or unit that is easily transported while hiking or camping in the woods. Although individuals take many precautions when hiking or camping many times individuals either become lost or abandoned in the woods during a camping trip.
The present invention relates to a survival staff kit comprising: a knife, where the knife includes a handle, a guard and serrated blade; a first chamber, where the first chamber includes a spyglass and a first compartment; a second chamber, where the second chamber includes compartments for water, fire starter tools, hooks, fishing cord and a flash light; and an end cap, where the knife, first chamber, second chamber and end cap assembly to create a staff. The top of the handle may include a compass. In the preferred embodiment, the knife is inserted into the first chamber and the handle functions as a handle for the knife and is a handle grip for the survival kit once in an assembled position.
The present invention relates to a survival staff that is utilized to assist an individual who may be stranded or otherwise lost in the woods as a mechanism to provide survival supplies and tools. In reference to
A knife 40 is included with the survival kit 100. The knife 40 includes a handle 43, a serrated blade 41 and a guard 44. A compass 45 is provided at the top of the handle 43. The knife 40 is inserted into a first chamber 30. The handle 43 of the knife 40 functions as a handle for the knife 40 and is a handle grip for the survival kit once in assembled position. The first chamber 30 includes a top end 33 and a bottom end 34. Within this chamber 30 is a spyglass 35 and a container 20 where the container 20 may include a string or cord for tying purposes. Adjustment holes 32 are provided to adjust the length and fit of the survival kit 100 once in an assembled position.
A second chamber 25 is provided below the first chamber 30. The second chamber 25 also includes holes 27 for adjusting the positioning of the chambers once they are assembled together. The second chamber 25 includes a small container of water 15, a compartment 22 for fire starting materials, a container 24 for hooks and strings for fishing purposes and a container 28 which encloses a small flashlight. An end cap 50 is provided to enclose the shaft once the components are assembled in a complete condition. An eyebolt 52 is provided at the distal end of the shaft end 50.
