- 5. The switching arrangement of claim 1 wherein the switching arrangement comprises a counterbalanced leverage switch wherein the means for receiving an application of the air current comprises a puff surface wherein the puff surface is coupled to a first branch of a leveraged arm, wherein a second branch of the leveraged arm comprises a counterweight, and wherein the leveraged arm is pivotable about a pivot axis between the first and second branches and wherein the means for actuating a response to the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current comprises a means for releasing a latch in response to an application of the air current on the puff surface.
- 6. The switching arrangement of claim 5 wherein the means for releasing the latch in response to the application of the air current on the puff surface comprises a first hook latch disposed on the second branch of the leveraged arm and a second hook latch with a means for imparting tension on the second hook latch whereby the second hook latch will undergo a mechanical displacement when the first hook latch is pivoted out of engagement therewith by a pivoting of the leveraged arm in response to the application of the air current.
- 7. The switching arrangement of claim 1 wherein the switching arrangement comprises a puff sail switch wherein the means for receiving an application of the air current comprises a puff sail that is pivotable about a pivot axis in response to the application of the air current.
- 8. The switching arrangement of claim 7 wherein the means for actuating a response to the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current comprises a biasing member for imparting a motive force on a biased structure in combination with a latch for being disengaged in response to the application of the air current on the puff sail.
- 9. The switching arrangement of claim 1 wherein the means for actuating a response to the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current comprises a means for sensing the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current and a means for producing an electrical signal in response to a sensed movement.
- 10. The switching arrangement of claim 9 wherein the switching arrangement comprises a swing switch wherein the means for receiving an application of an air current comprises a swingable element supported by a playset component and wherein the means for sensing the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current comprises a means for sensing a change in angular disposition of the swingable element.
- 11. The switching arrangement of claim 10 wherein the means for sensing the change in angular disposition of the swingable element comprises a means for differentiating between at least a first angular disposition and a second angular disposition.
- 12. The switching arrangement of claim 11 wherein the means for differentiating between the first and second angular dispositions comprises a first electrical contact retained relative to the swingable element and a second electrical contact retained relative to the playset component and wherein a change in the angular disposition of the swingable element will induce a change in contact status of the first electrical contact relative to the second electrical contact.
- 13. The switching arrangement of claim 12 wherein the means for producing the electrical signal in response to the sensed movement comprises a means for producing an effect that is dependent on the angular disposition of the swingable element.
- 14. The switching arrangement of claim 9 wherein the switching arrangement comprises a tumble switch comprising a first playset element rotatably retained relative to a second playset element, wherein the first playset element comprises the means for receiving the application of the air current, and wherein the means for sensing the movement of the means for receiving the application of the air current comprises a means for sensing a change in angular disposition of the first playset element.
- 15. The switching arrangement of claim 14 wherein the means for sensing the change in angular disposition of the first playset element comprises a means for differentiating between at least a first angular disposition and a second angular disposition.
- 16. The switching arrangement of claim 15 wherein the means for differentiating between the first and second angular dispositions comprises a first electrical contact retained relative to the first playset element and a second electrical contact retained relative to the second playset element and wherein a change in the angular disposition of the first playset element will induce a change in contact status of the first electrical contact relative to the second electrical contact.
- 17. The switching arrangement of claim 16 wherein the means for producing the electrical signal in response to the sensed movement comprises a means for producing an effect that is dependent on an angular movement of the first playset element.
- 18. The switching arrangement of claim 9 wherein the switching arrangement comprises a puff sail switch wherein the means for receiving an application of the air current comprises a puff sail that is movable in response to an application of a sufficient air current and wherein the means for producing an electrical signal in response to the sensed movement comprises a first electrical contact retained relative to the puff sail and a second electrical contact retained in proximity to the puff sail whereby the first and second electrical contacts can be induced into contact by the application of the air current on the puff sail.
