1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to golf tees and more particularly, to a swivel golf tee that avoids production of reaction force against the golf club when the user drives the golf ball.
2. Description of the Related Art
When playing golf, as shown in
Therefore, it is desirable to provide a golf tee that eliminates the aforesaid problem.
The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is one object of the present invention to provide a swivel golf tee, which avoids production of reaction force against the golf club when the user drives the golf ball.
To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, the swivel golf tee comprises an anchoring device for fastening to the ground, and a bracket pivoted to the anchoring device. The bracket has two arms disposed at two opposite lateral sides and terminating in a respective ball cup for holding a golf ball for hitting.
Referring to
The anchoring device 1 comprises a stem 11, which has a top pivot 111 vertically upwardly extended from its top side and a locating hole 112 on the center of the top side of the top pivot 111, a locating member 12, which has a center through hole 121, and a fastening member 13, which is inserted through the center through hole 121 and fastened to the locating hole 112 to affix the locating member 12 to the top side of the top pivot 111.
The bracket 2 comprises a base 21, a coupling hole 211 cut through the top and bottom sides of the base 21, a first arm 22 and a second arm 23 respectively transversely extended from two opposite lateral sides of the base 21 and respectively smoothly covered upwards and terminating in a respective ball cup 221 or 231.
During installation of the swivel golf tee, couple the coupling hole 211 of the base 21 of the bracket 2 to the top pivot 111 of the stem 11 of the anchoring device 1, and then insert the fastening member 13, through the center through hole 121 and fasten the fastening member 13 to the locating hole 112 to affix the locating member 12 to the top side of the top pivot 111 The height of the base 21 of the bracket 2 is slightly smaller than the height of the top pivot 111 of the stem 11 of the anchoring device 1. Therefore, when fastening member 12 fastens the locating member 12 to the top side of the top pivot 111 by the, the bracket 1 is secured to the top pivot 111 of the stem 11 and can be turned about the top pivot 111 of the stem 11.
Referring to
Further, the first arm 22 and the second arm 23 can be configured to have the ball cups 221 and 231 be disposed at different elevations, allowing the user to select either ball cup 221 or 231 for supporting the golf ball 3 subject to the type of the golf club 4 used. By means of controlling the upward curving length of the first arm 22 and the second arm 23, the ball cups 221 and 231 can be disposed at different elevations. Alternatively, the first arm 22 and the second arm 23 can be made identical but affixed to the base 21 at different elevations.
Further, before swinging the golf club 4, the user can turn the bracket 2 about the top pivot 111 of the stem 11 of the anchoring device 1, adjusting the angular position of the ball cup 221 or 231 that carries the golf ball 3. If the golf club 4 touches the ball cup 221 or 231 that does not carry the golf ball 3 during a swinging action, the user immediately knows the incorrect golf club swinging action and can make a proper correct.
Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
