Claims
- 1. A lubricant-fuel mixture wherein the fuel is lead-free, the mixture containing I part lubricant to about 25-100 parts fuel where the lubricant is a two-cycle lubricating oil composition comprising a major amount of a lubricating oil and a combination of two dispersants: (a) the first dispersant being present in an amount of 1-20 vol. % based upon the total volume of the lubricating oil and being an acylated nitrogen-containing compound prepared by reacting a hydrocarbyl compound having 30-35 carbon atoms with a mono- or poly- carboxylic acid and a nitrogen-containing compound having at least one primary or secondary amine group; and (b) 1-15 vol. % of another dispersant being a basic nitrogen compound selected from the group consisting of succinimides, carboxylic acid amides, hydrdocarbyl monoamines, hydrocarbyl polyamines, Mannich bases, phosphoramides, thiophosphoramides, phosphonamides, and dispersant viscosity index improvers.
- 2. The composition of claim 1 wherein the ratio of the second dispersant to the first dispersant is from about 5:1 to about 1:1.
- 3. The composition of claim 1 wherein the first dispersant is a polyisobutylene succinimide.
- 4. The composition of claim 3 wherein the polyisobutylene has a number average molecular weight of about 450.
- 5. The composition of claim 1 wherein the second dispersant is a polyisobutylene succinimide.
- 6. The composition of claim 5 wherein the polyisobutylene has a number average molecular weight of about 950.
