Claims
- 1. A method for processing and delivering a financial alert, the method comprising:
normalizing financial data received from one or more financial data sources to generate a financial alert; processing the financial alert by a relevance engine according to a client profile to determine a delivery destination for the financial alert; and delivering the financial alert to the delivery destination.
- 2. The method of claim 1 comprising delivering the financial alert to a persistent inbox accessed over a network.
- 3. The method of claim 2 comprising presenting the financial alert to a client when the persistent inbox is accessed.
- 4. The method of claim 1 comprising delivering a copy of the financial alert to a financial advisor.
- 5. The method of claim 4 comprising reviewing the financial alert to ensure conformity with regulatory compliance.
- 6. The method of claim 1 comprising editing the financial alert by a financial advisor.
- 7. The method of claim 5 comprising delivering the edited financial alert to a delivery destination.
- 8. The method of claim 1 comprising delivering the financial alert to a plurality of delivery destinations.
- 9. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering comprises delivering to one or more of a cellular telephone handset, a handheld computing device, and a paging device.
- 10. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering comprises delivering a summary of the financial alert.
- 11. The method of claim 1 comprising collecting client preference information for inclusion in the client profile.
- 12. The method of claim 1 comprising tracking the delivery of the financial alert to the delivery destination and calculating statistics regarding the tracked information.
- 13. The method of claim 1 wherein processing is based on financial transactions executed by a client.
