Claims
- 1. A fastening system comprising:
a means for rotatably attaching a first mount bracket to a first assembly; a means for rotatably attaching a second mount bracket to a second assembly; and a means for connecting said first mount bracket to said second bracket in at least two positions along a rotational axis.
- 2. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein the first mount bracket is connected to the second mount bracket by a rigid attachment comprising a machine screw.
- 3. The fastening system of claim 2 wherein said first and second mount brackets have a common axis of rotation about which said rigid attachment rotates.
- 4. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein said first and second mount brackets each comprise first and second perpendicular arm portions, said first arm portions having means for fastening structures for rotatably securing said first and second mount brackets to respective structures and said second arm portions comprising a rigid attachment.
- 5. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein said means for connecting comprises means for enabling said first mount bracket and said second mount bracket to rotate together about a common axis.
- 6. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein said means for connecting comprises means for separating a portion of said first mount bracket from a portion of said second mount bracket by space.
- 7. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein at least one of said means for rotatably attaching comprises an assembly screw and an insert.
- 8. The fastening system of claim 7 wherein said insert is a threaded insert and said assembly screw screws into said threaded insert.
- 9. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein connecting means comprises a machine screw.
- 10. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein said first mount bracket further comprises at least one means for manually grasping and positioning of said fastening system.
- 11. The fastening system of claim 1 wherein each of said bracket brackets comprises including a pair of “L” brackets, each of the “L” brackets having a first leg and a second leg.
- 12. The fastening system of claim 11 wherein said connecting means comprises rigid fasteners for removably joining together the first legs of said “L” brackets, wherein the first legs of said “L” brackets are separated by space.
