Description of the Related Art
Retaining walls are the structures that resist the lateral pressure of soil when there is a desired change in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of the soil. The retaining walls are built using materials such as wood, concrete, plastic blocks, bricks and the like. Wooden retaining walls are built from plurality of elongated vertically oriented wood posts and horizontally oriented soil-retaining panels. The wooden retaining walls have lower extremities, and are driven into the earth to a sufficient depth to support the load bearing posts and associated structural elements.
One of the conventional methods to build the retaining walls or to repair an existing fence include substantial digging of the ground and using concrete to secure the wooden posts. However, this conventional method is time consuming and requires considerable economic and human resource.
Another conventional method uses molded plastic blocks and molded metal blocks to build retaining walls. This conventional method requires significant human effort, technical expertise and specialized construction tools.
Hence, there is a need for a method and system for building a retaining wall and repairing an existing fence from the wooden posts without digging into the soil, and requiring less human effort. There is further a need for a system and method for securing the wooden posts by penetrating the wooden posts easily into the soil without digging and concrete pouring, while maintaining vertical alignment of the wooden posts. There is still further a need for a method and system for efficiently transferring the hammering force to drive the wooden posts into the ground without splitting it. Yet there is a need for a fence repair kit for building a retaining wall and repairing fence.
The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein and which will be understood by reading and studying the following specification.
The primary objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method, system, and a kit for building a retaining wall and repair an existing fence.
Another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method and system for facilitating the penetration of the wooden posts to the ground using a V-shaped metal tip.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method and system to maintain vertical alignment for the wooden posts of the retaining wall during ground penetration.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method and system for efficiently transferring the hammering force to the wooden posts, without splitting of the wooden posts.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a wedge shaped wooden posts for building retaining wall to minimize soil disturbance during ground penetration and thus utilizing the resistance at soil-wood interface to bear the load on the wooden posts.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide method and system to build retaining walls that eliminates a need of using concrete to secure the wooden posts into the ground.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method and system that requires less human effort than conventional systems to build the retaining wall.
Yet another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a method for repairing an existing fence in an economical and efficient way.

With respect to the
According to an embodiment herein, the channel guide together with V-shaped metal tip, helps to balance a left and right sway by balancing the side forces at the channel guide frame and thereby maintaining a verticality of the wedge shaped wooden posts 101, by restraining the bending of the wooden post in an unwanted direction, while driving the wedge shaped post into the ground.
At first, a plurality of standard wooden posts are converted into wedge shaped wooden posts (step 601). According to an embodiment herein, the user converts the standard wooden posts into wedge shaped wooden posts. According to an embodiment herein, a mass manufacturer converts and distributes the wedge shaped wooden posts made from standard wooden posts.
Further, to build the retaining wall and to repair existing fence, the wedge shaped wooden posts are prepared using V-shaped metal tips and protective metal covers (Step 602).
