- 12. A system of resources for defining a subscription in a workflow, enterprise and mail-enabled application server, comprising:
guidelines and best practices instructions files for defining customization varieties and aesthetic controls of a subscription design; a resource library of web design elements for developer inclusion into a template file for administrator definition in an offline configuration document of a client download page experience and synchronization control experience.
- 13. The system of claim 12, said design elements being Java status script and forms, and said inclusion being accomplished by copy and paste.
- 14. A system of administrator tools for defining a subscription in a workflow, enterprise and mail- enabled application server, comprising:
a developer defined template file of design elements initializing design of said subscription; a server side user interface responsive to said template file for defining an offline configuration document for said subscription; and a server side user interface responsive to said template file for defining offline security for said subscription.
- 15. The system of claim 14, said offline configuration document further comprising tabbed pages for presenting defaults of properties for client subscriptions.
- 16. The system of claim 15, said tabbed pages including a basic page, a services page, a schedules page, a rules page, and a download page field.
- 17. The system of claim 16, said tabbed pages providing for administrator selection services to install offline, custom services to install offline, synchronization schedule, frequency , limitations and exceptions, and synchronization rules.
- 18. The system of claim 17, said synchronization rules selectively defining file rules, date filtering synchronization options, halt conditions synchronization options, and synchronization optional actions.
- 19. The system of 14, said offline security for said subscription being configured by a security policy form presenting for administrator selection security domain definition and ID deployment policy.
- 20. The system of claim 19, said ID deployment policy including selection options for prompt, auto generate, and directory lookup deployment of IDs.

displaying a developer defined template file of design elements initializing design of said subscription; responsive to said template file, defining an offline configuration document for said subscription; and responsive to said template file, defining offline security for said subscription.

- 31. A computer program product configured to be operable for defining a subscription in a workflow, enterprise and mail-enabled application server, according to the steps of:
displaying a developer defined template file of design elements initializing design of said subscription; responsive to said template file, defining an offline configuration document for said subscription; and responsive to said template file, defining offline security for said subscription.
- 32. The method of claim 25, said subscriptions providing a logical grouping of data, application implementations, and application-instance security context and off-line subscriptions containing client-side runtime and framework for a fully functioning offline server.
- 33. The method of claim 32, said offline configuration document further comprising tabbed pages for presenting defaults of properties for client subscriptions.
- 34. The method of claim 33, said tabbed pages including a basic page, a services page, a schedules page, a rules page, and a download page field.
- 35. The method of claim 34, said tabbed pages providing for administrator selection services to install offline, custom services to install offline, synchronization schedule, frequency , limitations and exceptions, and synchronization rules.
