1. Technical Field
Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to systems and methods for an excretion-assisting garment for sportswomen.
2. Description of Related Art
Sportswomen, as sportsmen, will find themselves ‘caught short’ from time to time. However as the female micturatory apparatus does not enjoy the hose-like delivery system the male enjoys, a woman wanting to micturate in the field will find it necessary to hitch down her undergarments entirely if she is to avoid the soiling thereof.
Hence, an improved method for an excretion-assisting garment for sportswomen is still a long felt need.
It is an aim of the invention to provide a women's garment comprising leggings having areas covered by two overlapping pieces of material, which may be drawn apart to open the garment allowing micturation and/or defecation.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said areas are selected from the group consisting of: crotch; buttock region; and both crotch and buttock regions.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said garment is comprised of fibrous material selected from the group consisting of: Spandex, Lycra, nylon, wool, flax, cotton, Polyester, Aramid™, Acrylic, Nylon, Spandex™, Olefin fiber, Tyvek™, polylactide fiber, Lurex™, milk proteins, casein fiber, other fiber natural, synthetic fiber, and combinations thereof.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said article takes the form of shorts.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said article takes the form of leggings.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said article takes the form of pants.
It is further within provision of the invention further provided fastening means adapted to keep said overlapping pieces of material closed.
It is further within provision of the invention wherein said fastening means is selected from the group consisting of: buttons, snaps, Velcro™, zipper, rivet, holdfast, buckle carabiner, snap ring, catch, cleat, clinch, clip, peg, pin, corrugated fastener, wiggle nail, cotter, cringle, grommet, grummet, loop, dowel, joggle stop, fillet-hook, eye hook, knot, lashing, linkup, tie-in, tie seal, slide fastener, press stud, snap fastener, snap toggle.
It is further within provision of the invention to describe a method of rapid elimination by means of the above described garment.

In the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of embodiments of the present invention. However, those skilled in the art will understand that such embodiments may be practiced without these specific details. Just as each feature recalls the entirety, so may it yield the remainder. The term ‘plurality’ refers hereinafter to any positive integer (e.g, 1,5, or 10).
The invention consists of an under- or outer-garment taking the form of shorts or pants having a fold or flap which can be easily pulled open. By means of opening this flap, a woman's excretory apparatus may be revealed, allowing the woman to defecate, urinate, or both, without removing the garment. This will be found of use in cases for instance of sportswomen, who desire the ability to easily excrete in a minimum of time such that they may (for instance) return to a sporting event quickly.
Alternatively the invention may be found of use for the incontinent, elderly, outdoors-women, and the like.

It is within provision of the invention that the shorts be comprised of appropriate fibrous material such as Spandex, Lycra, nylon, wool, flax, cotton, Polyester, Aramid, Acrylic, Nylon, Spandex, Olefin fiber, Tyvek, polylactide fiber, Lurex, Milk proteins, casein fiber, and other fiber natural, synthetic or combinations thereof.
The inventive article of clothing may take the form of pants, trousers, shorts, leggings, or other that cover the waist and at least the upper legs/thighs.
The opening of the article of clothing may occur in front, in back, both, or on the entire front, back, and underside. These provisions allow for urination, defecation, or both.
It is within provision of the invention that a built-in undergarment be provided with shorts or pants of the invention, allowing for both layers (under- and out-garment) to be opened together to allow for urination/defecation.
It is within provision of the invention that the said built-in undergarment will function as one of the panels 102, 103.
It is within provision of the invention that the said built-in undergarment will be padded or contain a cushionlike mass of soft material.
Although selected embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it is to be understood the present invention is not limited to the described embodiments. Instead, it is to be appreciated that changes may be made to these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the invention, the scope of which is defined by the claims and the equivalents thereof.
