- 25. A method for joining wood members together, the method comprising:
providing first and second wood members, each having a contact surface; applying a rapid-curing multi-component adhesive mixture to at least one of the contact surfaces, wherein the adhesive is comprised substantially of resorcinol; and positioning the contact surfaces so that they generally face each other and define a region of overlap, wherein the adhesive contacts the contact surfaces in the region of overlap and binds the members together.
- 26. The method of claim 25, wherein the method further comprises pressing the contact surfaces of the members together in the region of overlap.
- 27. The method of claim 25, wherein the applying step includes spraying the adhesive onto at least one of the contact surfaces.
