Claims
- 1. A system for generating statistics information, comprising:
a server operable to:
execute a gaming application; monitor a plurality of game events during the execution of the gaming application by a user; communicate first event information associated with a first game event; and communicate second event information associated with a second game event; a processor remotely coupled to the server and operable to:
receive the first event information; receive the second event information; and generate statistics information based at least in part upon the first event information and the second event information; and a memory coupled to the processor and operable to store the statistics information.
- 2. The system of claim 1, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 3. The system of claim 1, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the statistics information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; a statistic type; and a statistic value.
- 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the statistics information comprises first statistics information and the processor is further operable to:
receive third event information associated with a third game event, wherein the third game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application; receive fourth event information associated with a fourth game event, wherein the fourth game event is associated with the execution by the second user of the second gaming application; and generate second statistics information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the third event information and the fourth event information.
- 6. The system of claim 5, further comprising a second server operable to host the second gaming application.
- 7. The system of claim 5, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the third event information substantially simultaneously.
- 8. The system of claim 5, wherein the processor is further operable to:
compare first statistics information associated with the first user and second statistics information associated with the second user; and provide enhanced services to at least one of the first user and the second user based at least in part upon the comparison of the first statistics information and the second statistics information.
- 9. The system of claim 1, wherein the processor is further operable to communicate the statistics information for presentation to the user during the execution of the gaming application.
- 10. The system of claim 1, wherein the processor generates profile information associated with the user based at least in part upon the statistics information.
- 11. The system of claim 10, wherein the processor is further operable to:
compare the statistics information associated with the user and the profile information associated with the user; and audit the execution of the gaming application by the user based at least in part upon the comparison of the statistics information and the profile information.
- 12. The system of claim 1, wherein the statistics information is associated with at least one of the user and the gaming application.
- 13. A platform for generating statistics information, comprising:
a processor operable to: receive first event information associated with a first game event, wherein the first game event is associated with the execution by a user of a gaming application hosted by a remote server; receive second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution by the user of the gaming application; and generate statistics information based at least in part upon the first event information and the second event information; and a memory coupled to the processor and operable to store the statistics information.
- 14. The platform of claim 13, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 15. The platform of claim 13, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 16. The platform of claim 13, wherein the statistics information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; a statistic type; and a statistic value.
- 17. The platform of claim 13, wherein the user comprises a first user and the statistics information comprises first statistics information, and the processor is further operable to:
receive third event information associated with a third game event, wherein the third game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application; and receive fourth event information associated with a fourth game event, wherein the fourth game event is associated with the execution by the second user of the second gaming application; and generate second statistics information associated with the second user and the second gaming application based at least in part upon the third event information and the fourth event information.
- 18. The platform of claim 17, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the third event information substantially simultaneously.
- 19. The platform of claim 17, wherein the processor is further operable to:
compare the first statistics information associated with the first user and the second statistics information associated with the second user; and provide enhanced services to at least one of the first user and the second user based at least in part upon the comparison of the first statistics information and the second statistics information.
- 20. The platform of claim 13, wherein the processor is further operable to communicate the statistics information for presentation to the user during the execution of the gaming application.
- 21. The platform of claim 13, wherein the processor generates profile information associated with the user based at least in part upon the statistics information.
- 22. The platform of claim 21, wherein the processor is further operable to:
compare the statistics information associated with the user and the profile information associated with the user; and audit the execution of the gaming application by the user based at least in part upon the comparison of the statistics information and the profile information.
- 23. The platform of claim 13, wherein the statistics information is associated with at least one of the user and the gaming application.
- 24. The platform of claim 17, wherein the second gaming application is hosted by a second remote server.
- 25. A method for generating statistics information, comprising:
receiving first event information associated with a first game event, wherein the first game event is associated with the execution by a user of a gaming application hosted by a remote server; receiving second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution by the user of the gaming application; generating statistics information associated with the user and the gaming application based at least in part upon the first event information and the second event information; and storing the statistics information.
- 26. The method of claim 25, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 27. The method of claim 25, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 28. The method of claim 25, wherein the statistics information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; a statistic type; and a statistic value.
- 29. The method of claim 25, wherein the user comprises a first user and the statistics information comprises first statistics information, the method further comprising:
receiving third event information associated with a third game event, wherein the third game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application; and receiving fourth event information associated with a fourth game event, wherein the fourth game event is associated with the execution by the second user of the second gaming application; and generating second statistics information associated with the second user and the second gaming application based at least in part upon the third event information and the fourth event information.
- 30. The method of claim 29, wherein the steps of receiving the first event and receiving the third event information are performed substantially simultaneously.
- 31. The method of claim 29, further comprising:
comparing the first statistics information associated with the first user and the second statistics information associated with the second user; and providing enhanced services to at least one of the first user and the second user based at least in part upon the comparison of the first statistics information and the second statistics information.
- 32. The method of claim 25, further comprising communicating the statistics information for presentation to the user during the execution of the gaming application.
- 33. The method of claim 25, further comprising generating profile information associated with the user based at least in part upon the statistics information.
- 34. The method of claim 33, further comprising:
comparing the statistics information associated with the user and the profile information associated with the user; and auditing the execution of the gaming application by the user based at least in part upon the comparison of the statistics information and the profile information.
- 35. The method of claim 25, wherein the statistics information is associated with at least one of the user and the gaming application.
- 36. The method of claim 29, wherein the second gaming application is hosted by a second remote server.
