Claims
- 1. A system for managing game events, comprising:
a first server operable to:
execute a first gaming application; monitor a first plurality of game events during the execution of the first gaming application; and communicate first event information associated with at least one of the first plurality of game events; a second server operable to:
execute a second gaming application; monitor a second plurality of game events during the execution of the second gaming application; and communicate second event information associated with at least one of the second plurality of game events; a processor remotely coupled to the first server and the second server, the processor operable to receive the first event information and the second event information; and a memory coupled to the processor and operable to store at least a portion of the first event information and the second event information.
- 2. The system of claim 1, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the corresponding gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 3. The system of claim 1, wherein the first event information comprises first data and second data and the first server processes the first event information to remove the second data prior to communicating the first event information.
- 4. The system of claim 1, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the second event information substantially simultaneously.
- 6. The system of claim 1, wherein a first user participates in the first gaming application and a second user participates in the second gaming application, and the processor is further operable to:
generate first statistics information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generate second statistics information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 7. The system of claim 1, wherein the first gaming application is executed by a first user and the second gaming application is executed by a second user, and the processor is further operable to:
generate first profile information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generate second profile information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 8. The system of claim 1, wherein the first event information comprises first data and second data and the processor processes the first event information to remove the second data, and wherein the memory stores the processed first event information.
- 9. The system of claim 1, wherein:
the first gaming application is further operable to:
execute a third gaming application; monitor a third plurality of game events during the execution of the third gaming application; and communicate third event information associated with at least one of the third plurality of game events; the processor is further operable to receive the third event information; and the memory is further operable to store the third event information.
- 10. A method for managing game events, comprising:
executing a first gaming application; monitoring a first plurality of game events during the execution of the first gaming application; communicating first event information associated with at least one of the first plurality of game events; executing a second gaming application; monitoring a second plurality of game events during the execution of the second gaming application; communicating second event information associated with at least one of the second plurality of game events; receiving the first event information and the second event information at a remote processor; and storing at least a portion of the first event information and the second event information.
- 11. The method of claim 10, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the corresponding gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 12. The method of claim 10, wherein the first event information comprises first data and second data, the method further comprising processing the first event information to remove the second data prior to communicating the first event information.
- 13. The method of claim 10, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 14. The method of claim 10, wherein the step of receiving comprises receiving the first event information and the second event information substantially simultaneously.
- 15. The method of claim 10, wherein a first user participates in the first gaming application and a second user participates in the second gaming application, and the method further comprising:
generating first statistics information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generating second statistics information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 16. The method of claim 10, wherein a first user participates in the first gaming application and a second user participates in the second gaming application, and the method further comprising:
generating first profile information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generating second profile information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 17. The method of claim 10, wherein the first event information comprises first data and second data and the method further comprises processing the first event information to remove the second data, wherein the step of storing comprises storing the processed first event information.
- 18. The method of claim 10, wherein:
the first gaming application is executed at a first server; the second gaming application is executed at a second server; and the processor is remote from the first server and the second server.
- 19. The method of claim 10, wherein:
the first gaming application and the second gaming application are executed at a particular server; and the processor is remote from the particular server.
- 20. A platform for managing game events, comprising:
a processor operable to:
receive first event information associated with at least one of a first plurality of game events from a first server, wherein the first plurality of game events are associated with the execution of a first gaming application hosted by the first server; and receive second event information associated with at least one of a second plurality of game events from a second server, wherein the second plurality of game events are associated with the execution of a second gaming application hosted by the second server; and a memory coupled to the processor and operable to store the first event information and the second event information.
- 21. The platform of claim 20, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the corresponding gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 22. The platform of claim 20, wherein the first event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
- 23. The platform of claim 20, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the second event information substantially simultaneously.
- 24. The platform of claim 20, wherein a first user participates in the first gaming application and a second user participates in the second gaming application, and the processor is further operable to:
generate first statistics information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generate second statistics information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 25. The platform of claim 20, wherein a first user participates in the first gaming application and a second user participates in the second gaming application, and the processor is further operable to:
generate first profile information associated with the first user based at least in part upon the first event information; and generate second profile information associated with the second user based at least in part upon the second event information.
- 26. The platform of claim 20, wherein the first event information comprises first data and second data and the processor processes the first event information to remove the second data, and wherein the memory stores the processed first event information.
- 27. The platform of claim 20, wherein:
the processor is further operable to receive third event information associated with at least one of a third plurality of game events from the first server, wherein the third plurality of game events are associated with the execution of a third gaming application hosted by the first game server; and the memory is further operable to store the third event information.
- 28. A server for managing game events, comprising:
a processor operable to execute a gaming application that is accessed by a remote user via a network; a monitor module coupled to the processor and operable to monitor a plurality of game events during the execution of the gaming application by the user; and an interface coupled to the processor and operable to communicate event information associated with at least one of the game events to an enhanced services platform remote from the server.
- 29. The server of claim 28, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.
- 30. The server of claim 28, wherein the event information comprises first data and second data and the server processes the event information to remove the second data prior to communicating the event information.
- 31. The server of claim 28, wherein the event information comprises:
a gaming application identifier; a user identifier; an event type; an event value; and an event timestamp.
