Claims
- 1. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network; the system comprising:
(a) a mobile call originating station; said mobile call originating station originating a particular said special number call from a call locus; said mobile call originating station including a position determining unit; (b) a mobile switching station receiving said particular special number call; said mobile switching station assigning a temporary identifier for said mobile call originating station at least during said particular special number call; (c) a mobile geolocation system coupled with said mobile switching station; said mobile geolocation system cooperating with said mobile switching station to query said position determining unit for origination geographic information relating to said call locus; and (d) a special number call service station coupled with said mobile switching station; said particular special number call being routed to said special number call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information.
- 2. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 1 wherein said special number call service station is coupled with at least one special number call dispatching station, and wherein said at least one special number call dispatching station is coupled with at least one special number call action agency; said at least one special number call action agency being tasked by said at least one special number call dispatching station to respond to said particular special number call.
- 3. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 1 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching station are located at a single facility.
- 4. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 2 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching station are located at a single facility.
- 5. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 1 wherein said special number call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 6. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 2 wherein said special number call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 7. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 3 wherein said special number call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 8. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 4 wherein said special number call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 9. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network; the system comprising:
(a) at least one mobile call originating unit; a selected mobile call originating unit of said at least one mobile call originating unit being employed by a user for originating a particular said emergency call from a call locus; said selected mobile call originating unit including a position determining unit; (b) at least one mobile switching unit receiving said particular emergency call; a selected mobile switching unit of said at least one mobile switching unit assigning a temporary identifier for said selected mobile call originating unit at least during said particular emergency call; (c) at least one mobile geolocation system coupled with said at least one mobile switching unit; a selected mobile geolocation system of said at least one mobile geolocation system being coupled with said selected mobile switching unit and cooperating with said selected mobile switching unit to query said position determining unit for origination geographic information relating to said call locus; and (d) at least one emergency call service station coupled with said at least one mobile switching unit; said particular emergency call being routed to a selected emergency call service station of said at least one emergency call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information.
- 10. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 9 wherein said emergency call service station is coupled with at least one emergency call dispatching station, and wherein said at least one emergency call dispatching station is coupled with at least one emergency call action agency; said at least one emergency call action agency being tasked by said at least one emergency call dispatching station to respond to said particular emergency call.
- 11. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 9 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching unit are located at a single facility.
- 12. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 10 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching unit are located at a single facility.
- 13. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 9 wherein said at least one emergency call service station is coupled with said at least one mobile switching unit via a public switched telephone network
- 14. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 10 wherein said at least one emergency call service station is coupled with said at least one mobile switching unit via a public switched telephone network
- 15. A system for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 11 wherein said at least one emergency call service station is coupled with said at least one mobile switching unit via a public switched telephone network
- 16. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network; the method comprising the steps of:
(a) providing a mobile call originating station; said mobile call originating station originating a particular said emergency call from a call locus; said mobile call originating station including a position determining unit; (b) providing a mobile switching station; said mobile switching station receiving said particular emergency call; said mobile switching station assigning a temporary identifier for said mobile call originating station at least during said particular emergency call; (c) providing a mobile geolocation system coupled with said mobile switching station; said mobile geolocation system cooperating with said mobile switching station to query said position determining unit for origination geographic information relating to said call locus; and (d) providing an emergency call service station coupled with said mobile switching station; said particular emergency call being routed to said emergency call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information.
- 17. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 16 wherein said emergency call service station is coupled with at least one emergency call dispatching station, and wherein said at least one emergency call dispatching station is coupled with at least one emergency call action agency; said at least one emergency call action agency being tasked by said at least one emergency call dispatching station to respond to said particular emergency call.
- 18. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 16 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching station are located at a single facility.
- 19. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 17 wherein said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching station are located at a single facility.
- 20. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 16 wherein said emergency call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 21. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 17 wherein said emergency call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 22. A method for routing emergency calls from mobile callers in a telecommunication network as recited in claim 18 wherein said emergency call service station is coupled with said mobile switching station via a public switched telephone network
- 23. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network; the system comprising:
(a) a mobile call originating station; said mobile call originating station originating a particular said special number call from a call locus; (b) a mobile switching station receiving said particular special number call; said mobile switching station assigning a temporary identifier for said mobile call originating station at least during said particular special number call; (c) a mobile geolocation system coupled with said mobile switching station; said mobile geolocation system including at least one mobile geolocation unit cooperating with said mobile switching station to monitor said mobile call originating station to ascertain origination geographic information relating to said call locus; and (d) a special number call service station coupled with said mobile switching station; said particular special number call being routed to said special number call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information.
