Claims
- 1. An image processing system for including an image processing apparatus for performing image processing of image data of low resolution, which performs a bi-directional communication with an image arranging apparatus, and the image arranging apparatus for arranging image data of high resolution, which performs bi-directional communication with the image processing apparatus, said image processing system comprising:said image processing apparatus comprising: receiving means for receiving image data from said image arranging apparatus on a basis of a request by said image processing apparatus; extraction means for extracting drawing contents on the basis of a drawing command, called by an application, for drawing the image data received by said receiving means, wherein a drawing command is transmitted to a drawing program which is a part of the OS; generation means for generating edit information in accordance with the drawing contents extracted by said extraction means; and transmission means for transmitting the edit information to said image arranging apparatus so that image data of high resolution stored in an image drawing memory in said image arranging apparatus is edited in accordance with the edit information; and said image arranging apparatus comprising: first input means for inputting the edit information from said image processing apparatus which designates contents edited by drawing commands input in said image processing apparatus; second input means for inputting a print instruction including no image data from said image processing apparatus; arranging means for interpreting the edit information input from said first input means and for arranging the image data of high resolution on a basis of the edit information; and print control means for controlling to print the image data of high resolution arranged by said arranging means on a basis of the print instruction input from said second input means.
- 2. An image processing system according to claim 1, wherein said image arranging apparatus communicates with said image processing apparatus through a network.
- 3. An image processing system according to claim 2, wherein said network is a “stored forward” type.
- 4. An image processing system according to claim 1, wherein the edit information is written in script form.
- 5. An image processing system according to claim 1, wherein said print control means controls so that the image data of high resolution are transmitted to a print server.
- 6. An image processing method of operating an image processing apparatus for performing image processing of image data of low resolution, which performs a bi-directional communication with an image arranging apparatus, and the image arranging apparatus for arranging image data of high resolution, which performs bi-directional communication with the image processing apparatus, said image processing method comprising:a receiving step, of receiving image data from said image arranging apparatus on a basis of a request by said image processing apparatus; an extraction step, of extracting drawing contents on the basis of a drawing command, called by an application, for drawing the image data received in said receiving step, wherein a drawing command is transmitted to a drawing program which is part of OS; a generation step, of generating edit information in accordance with the drawing contents extracted in said extraction step; a transmission step, of transmitting the edit information to said image arranging apparatus so that image data of high resolution stored in an image drawing memory in said image arranging apparatus is edited in accordance with the edit information; a first input step, of inputting the edit information from said image processing apparatus which designates contents edited by drawing commands input in said image processing apparatus; a second input step, of inputting a print instruction including no image data from said image processing apparatus; an arranging step, of interpreting the edit information input by said first input step and of arranging the image data of high resolution on a basis of the edit information; and a print controls step, of controlling to print the image data of high resolution arranged by said arranging step on a basis of the print instruction input by said second input step.
- 7. An image processing method according to claim 6, wherein said image arranging apparatus communicates with said image processing apparatus through a network.
- 8. An image processing method according to claim 7, wherein said network is a “stored forward” type.
- 9. An image processing method according to claim 6, wherein the edit information is written in script form.
- 10. “An image processing system according to claim 6, wherein said print control means controls so that the image data of high resolution are transmitted to a print server”.
