Claims
- 1. A method of making a device for controlled release of an antiarrhythmic drug comprising:
- (a) forming a mixture of about 4 parts lidocaine hydrochloride; 10 parts polyurethane prepolymer, said polyurethane prepolymer comprising about 0.21 parts diisocyanate monomer and about 0.79 parts polyether monomer; and about 0.74 .mu.M FeCl.sub.3 /g polyether monomer;
- (b) forming the mixture into a desired shape; and
- (c) curing the formed mixture at a temperature in the range of 50.degree. C. to 60.degree. C. for a period of time ranging from about 24 hours to 3 days.
