- 2. A film image input system as set forth in claim 1, wherein said means for driving and controlling said mirror drive means and film drive means comprises operation means for driving said mirror drive means in order to execute a desired scanning operation- and control means, in accordance with the angle of said mirror inclined by said mirror drive means, for controlling said film drive means so that the optical axis of said taking lens intersects the surface of said photo film at a right angle.
- 3. A film image input system as set forth in claim 1, wherein said means for driving and controlling said mirror drive means and film drive means comprises operation means for outputting a scan instruction in order to execute a desired scanning operation and control means, in accordance with the scan instruction output from said operation means, for controlling said mirror drive means and film drive means at the same time so that the optical axis of said taking lens intersects the surface of said photo film at a right angle.
- 4. A film image input system which forms an image of a developed still photo film on a light receiving surface of an area image sensor through a mirror and a zoomable taking lens and outputs to a display means an image signal photo-electrically converted by the area image sensor to thereby reproduce the film image on the screen of said display means, said film image input system comprising:
- film feed means for feeding said photo film to thereby execute a frame feeding operation and also to thereby execute a scanning operation of said film image in the film feeding direction;
- mirror drive means for inclining said mirror only in one direction to thereby scan said film image in a direction perpendicular to said film feeding direction; and,
- operation means for driving said film feed means and said mirror drive means in order to execute a desired scanning operation.
- 5. A film image input system which forms an image of a developed still photo film on a light receiving surface of an area image sensor through two mirrors and a zoomable taking lens and outputs to a display means an image signal photo-electrically converted by the area image sensor to thereby reproduce the film image on the screen of said display means, said film image input system comprising:
- film feed means for feeding said photo film to thereby execute a frame feeding operation and also to thereby execute a scanning operation of said film image in the film feeding direction;
- mirror drive means for inclining at least one of said two mirrors only in one direction to thereby scan said film image in a direction perpendicular to said film feeding direction; and,
- operation means for driving said film feed means and mirror drive means in order to execute a desired scanning.
- 6. A film image input system as set forth in claim 5, wherein said photo film, two mirrors, taking lens and image pickup element are disposed on the same plane and said two mirrors bend the optical axis of said taking lens substantially in an S shape or in a Z shape.
- 7. A film image input system as set forth in claim 5, wherein said photo film, two mirrors, taking lens and image pickup element are disposed on the same plane and said two mirrors bend the optical axis of said taking lens substantially in a U shape.
- 8. A film image input system as set forth in claim 5, wherein said zoomable taking lens comprises a single focus lens, means for moving at least one of said two mirrors and for adjusting the angle of rotation of said two mirrors in order for the image light of said photo film to enter said single focus lens to thereby vary the length of an optical path from said photo film to said image pickup element, lens drive means for moving said single focus lens in the optical axis direction thereof, and control means for controlling said lens drive means so that said single focus lens is moved to a focusing position.
- 9. A film image input system, comprising:
- setting means for setting a developed still photo film at a predetermined taking position;
- lighting means for lighting said developed still photo film set by said setting means;
- an area image sensor having a light-receiving surface;
- a zoom lens for forming a film image of at least a portion of a frame of said developed still photo film lighted by said lighting means on said light-receiving surface of said area image sensor by zooming in or out, said area image sensor outputting image signals corresponding to said film image;
- signal process means for processing said image signals outputted from said area image sensor and outputting said processed image signals to a display means;
- a mirror interposed between said photo film and said zoom lens for deflecting an optical axis of said zoom lens, said mirror capable of rotating in two directions;
- mirror drive means for rotating said mirror; and
- operation means for outputting signals which drive said mirror drive means and for displaying said film image on the display means in response to rotation of said mirror.
