The present invention relates to a system comprising novel fastening and sliding means that are used in an integral system for adapting boxes or other containers to be installable as drawers or filling drawers in furniture or other surfaces.
Based on the research that has been carried out, it has been determined that today there is no comprehensive system that can meet the demand for useful spaces in existing furniture and also in the different surfaces that are available in everyday life, such as shelves, desks, restores, tables, bookcases, doors, walls, etc. . . . . Above all, a system that allows transforming and reusing common boxes or containers where various commercial products are sold, transported and distributed in drawers that can be installed on any piece of furniture or surface. Specifically in elements called drawers, meaning drawers as square or rectangular elements with 90-degree corners, an interior space and sliding systems. (Rails that allow sliding in order to be used)
An approach to a first related invention and referred to a system such as the one referred to, is covered by international patent application No. PCT/IB2018/057473.
In particular, the present invention relates to the implementation of drawers on any surface, such as a wardrobe, dresser, desk, bookshelf, shelves, shelf, counter, bar, etc. Without the latter previously having drawers or if they had some, they could be placed one or more additionally.
Therefore, in addition to the foregoing, derived from the invention of the aforementioned international patent application No. PCT/IB2018/057473, the research and development of new and better fastening and sliding means for said system were continued. The fastening and sliding means described refer to advances made in the research to adapt boxes or containers such as drawers or filling drawers that can be attached and slid as described in the aforementioned international patent.
The problem that the present invention seeks to solve is that of having improved fastening and sliding means for a system that adapts boxes or containers such as attachable and sliding drawers or filling drawers that have advantages, for example, according to the disclosure of international patent application PCT/IB2018/057473, the fastening means used may be too complex to be used in boxes of common use in which products are transported and distributed commercially, since long rails and complex installation fastening means are required. What is sought with the fastening and sliding means of the present invention is to provide a more useful and easily achievable alternative for the technical effect, that is, to include fastening and sliding means that only require two or more driving elements or beams and small and easy to place fastening elements with an end that adapts to the shape of the driving beam at its upper end, and at the lower end either mechanical fastening clamps, to fasten to the drawer or an adhesion element to the surface or furniture where it is desired to fasten or adhere the drawer.
The fastening and sliding means of the present invention provide an easy assembly and placement system to transform a box or container for commercial use for sale, distribution and storage of various common products, in a sliding drawer easy to install on any furniture or surface.
The problem that the present invention seeks to solve is that of having fastening and sliding means for a system that adapts boxes or containers for commercial use for sale, distribution and storage of various common products such as attachable and sliding drawers or filling drawers that have advantages, for example, the fastening means used in the state of the art may be too complex to be used in boxes of common use in which products are transported and distributed commercially, since four long rails and several fastening means are required, which must be contained in the initial box or container. What is sought with the fastening and sliding means of the present invention is to provide a more useful and easily achievable alternative for the technical effect, that is, to include fastening and sliding means that only require two or more driving elements or beams and fastening elements with one end that adapts to the shape of the driving beam in its front view and at the other end either mechanical fastening clamps, to fasten to the drawer, or an attachable element to the surface or furniture where it is desired to fasten the drawer.
The present invention, therefore, relates to novel fastening and sliding means that are used in an integral system for adapting boxes or other containers to be installable as drawers or filing drawers on furniture or other surfaces.
The fastening and sliding means of the present invention are structured as follows: They comprise two or more shafts or tubes, preferably cylindrical, which are assembled parallel to each other at a distance determined by the width of the box or container in which they will be used; these shafts can be made of plastic, wood, cardboard or any other acceptable material and that constitute the conduction beams (3), these driving beams can vary in size, being normally of a size corresponding to the boxes and containers in common use and can be included within the same box for subsequent transformation. Additionally, the fastening and sliding means of the present invention comprise two or more fastening elements or fastening slides (2) consisting of parts, preferably made of extruded plastic, but which can also be made of other materials such as wood or cardboard, which are arranged in the middle area of the driving beams, of which, two or more of them at their upper end comprise a hollow ring or bolt parallel to the fastening slide (2), preferably cylindrical, where the lateral driving beams (4) are inserted, and these, at their lower end comprise a sawed clamp or anchor that is pressure-joined to the side walls of the box.
The fastening of the box to the rail is carried out through a toothed staple with or without bolts, dowel, expandable head dowel, harpoon heads or any other element that replaces or performs the same function as the bolt.
The purpose of this bolt is to increase the load capacity of the staple to be anchored through pressing the material by the nature of its geometry and being able to fasten to the materials of the system This bolt that is placed in the staple has the ability to pass through the fastening material where it is anchored, this is an integral part of the structure involved in question. with the ability to slide the rail either inside it or outside, and, at the same time, the rail is fastened to another so-called anchor that is fastened to the surface in question, whether it is a table, board, shelf, etc. . . . . The anchors are fastened via double-sided tape, sailboat, glue, etc. . . . . The anchors can be fastened by means of teeth, spurs, spines, spikes, harpoons etc. . . . . Or, through glues, double-sided tape, sailboat, or bolts that pass through the box and anchor or with rail fasteners. The fastening and sliding means of the present invention further comprise fastening wheels (1), which consist of pieces preferably made of extruded plastic, but which can also be made of other materials such as wood or cardboard, which are arranged on the side walls of the box or container and which, at their lower end, comprise a hollow ring or bolt parallel to the fastening slide (2) in which it is inserted and at its upper end comprise a plate with a flat surface containing an adhesive element that can be adhered to any surface, preferably, the adhesive element is a double-sided adhesive tape, but other adhesive means are acceptable, such as sailboat or glue.
Additionally, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the invention comprises two or more anchors for the drawer puller (4), which consist of parts, preferably made of extruded plastic, but which can also be made of other materials such as wood or cardboard, which are arranged on the front wall of the box or container and which comprise, at their upper end, a hollow ring or bolt and an arm that extends with an arm perpendicularly outwards of the anchor to be inserted into the drawer puller (5), and these, at their lower end comprise a clamp or sawed anchor that is pressure-joined to the front wall of the box or container. These anchors for the drawer puller allow a cylindrical beam or tube to be inserted into the bolt, the same as that which constitutes the driving beams (3) but smaller in size and which constitutes the drawer puller (5).
For the manufacture of the items described in the present disclosure, selected manufacturing methods of plastic injection, robot machining and additive manufacturing are employed.
The detailed description of the present invention is described more specifically by means of the figures attached thereto without limiting the scope of protection thereof, which will be determined by the corresponding claims.
