Description
FIELD

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for storing and dispensing medication or food products from a container. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to containers for storing medication or food products that are efficient to manufacture, store, and transport, and provide storage for medication or food products of different shapes and sizes.

BACKGROUND

Typically, medication and some food products, such as gum, candy, etc. are provided in cylindrical containers with a cap at one end. However, such containers are cumbersome to maintain because the containers waste space when stored in cabinets, on shelves, etc. For example, cylindrical containers have wasted space between the containers when stored together. This leads to wasted space in medicine cabinets and on retail shelves, and to increased shipping costs when shipping. Additionally, the cylindrical containers and the caps for the cylindrical containers must also be stored, manufactured, and inventoried.

Moreover, labels placed on the container wrap around the container, which creates inefficiencies because a user must pick up the cylindrical container in order to be able to turn the container and read the entire label. In cases where multiple containers are stored together, a consumer must pick up each individual container in order to read the label and find the correct container.

Further limitations and disadvantages of conventional and traditional approaches will become apparent to one of skill in the art, through comparison of such systems with some aspects of the present disclosure as set forth in the remainder of the present application.

SUMMARY

Certain embodiments provide a container for dispensing food products or medication, substantially as shown in and/or described in connection with at least one of the figures.

These and other advantages, aspects and novel features of the present disclosure, as well as details of an illustrated embodiment thereof, will be more fully understood from the following description and drawings.
