Claims
- 1. A tank valve assembly comprising:
a primary body assembly having a plurality of apertures, wherein each aperture is positioned at a different height on the primary body assembly; and a plurality of valves pivotally connected to the primary body assembly, wherein each valve is configured to cover one of plurality of apertures.
- 2. The tank valve assembly of claim 1, wherein the primary body assembly has a first aperture and a second aperture, wherein the first aperture is positioned at a different height on the primary body assembly than the second aperture; and
wherein the plurality of valves comprise:
a first valve pivotally connected to the primary body assembly, the first valve configured to cover the first aperture; and a second valve pivotally connected to the primary body assembly, the second valve configured to cover the second aperture.
- 3. The tank valve assembly according to claim 2, wherein the primary body assembly further comprises:
a first body element, wherein the first aperture is positioned on the first body element; and a second body element, wherein the second body element is removable from the first body element and wherein the second aperture is positioned on the second body element.
- 4. A flush system for a toilet, the flush system comprising:
a bowl adapted to receive waste to be flushed; a tank providing a reservoir of water to flush the bowl; a tank valve assembly disposed in the tank and operable to release the water into the bowl in a first volume and a second volume, wherein the tank valve assembly comprises:
a primary body assembly having a first aperture and a second aperture, wherein the first aperture is positioned at a different height on the primary body assembly from the second aperture; a first valve pivotally connected to the primary body assembly, the first valve configured to cover the first aperture; and a second valve pivotally connected to the primary body assembly, the second valve configured to cover the second aperture; and a flush control handle accessible from outside the tank, for initiating a flushing operation, the flush control handle attached to an actuator arm joined by a first flexible line to the first valve.
- 5. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the first valve is connected to the second valve by a second flexible line.
- 6. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the second valve is connected to the actuator arm by a second flexible line.
- 7. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the flexible line comprises a metal chain.
- 8. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the second volume of water is three times greater than the first volume of water.
- 9. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the second volume of water is six times greater than the first volume of water.
- 10. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the tank valve assembly comprises:
a primary body assembly, wherein the primary body assembly further comprises:
a first body element, wherein the first aperture is positioned on the first body element; and a second body element, wherein the second body element is removable from the first body element and wherein the second aperture is positioned on the second body element.
- 11. The flush system according to claim 4, wherein the first volume is associated with the flushing of liquid waste and the second volume is greater than the first volume, and wherein the second volume is associated with the flushing of solid waste.
- 12. A method for flushing a toilet having a bowl, such that the flushing alternatively operates with a first flush water volume and a second flush water volume greater than the first flush water volume, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a flush control handle assembly having a first chain associated with the first flush water volume and a second chain associated with a second flush water volume; pressing the flush control handle assembly to initiate the flushing operation with the first flush water volume; and introducing water into the bowl at a first rate dependent upon the first flush water volume.
- 13. The method according to claim 12, further comprising the steps of:
pressing the flush control handle assembly to initiate the flushing operation with the second flue water volume; and introducing water into the bowl at a second rate dependent upon the second flush water volume.
- 14. The method according to claim 13, wherein the second flush water volume is three times greater than the first flush water volume.
- 15. The method according to claim 13, wherein the second flush water volume is six times greater than the first flush water volume.
