Claims
- 1. The apparatus for processing anisotropic films obtained from a liquid crystal solution containing at least one organic compound, comprising:
means for holding a substrate carrying an anisotropic film, a processing facility, including at least one channel or a system of connected channels, wherein the channel(s) is (are) provided with an input connected to means for supplying a working fluid and an output connected to a rarefaction or vacuum system, and at least a part of the channel (s) is open on the side of processed film; means for moving the processing facility to the substrate carrying the processed anisotropic film; and means for pressing the processing facility to the surface of the anisotropic film and/or substrate.
- 2. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the edge of a part of the channel (s) is made of an elastic material of hardness types of A, B, C, D, DO, O, and OO according to ASTM Standard D2240.
- 3. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the channel (s) is (are) made, at least on one side, of an elastic material of hardness types of A, B, C, D, DO, O, and OO according to ASTM Standard D2240.
- 4. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a part of the processing facility contacting with the anisotropic film is made of a material selected so as to ensure a hermetic sealing of the open part of the channels with the film without damaging the film surface.
- 5. The apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the hermetic contact is ensured when the working fluid is of gel, liquid, or gas type.
- 6. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the processing facility additionally contains at least one system of channels.
- 7. The apparatus according to claim 6, wherein at least one channel or the system of channels is connected to means for supplying a fluid dissolving the anisotropic film material, and at least one channel or the system of channels is connected to means for supplying a fluid containing divalent or trivalent metal ions.
- 8. The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the system of channels for feeding a working fluid is made so that the fluid is delivered from an input in parallel to all open regions of the channels.
- 9. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising means for heating the substrate and/or the working fluid.
- 10. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising means for matching the processing facility to means for holding the substrate with an anisotropic film.
- 11. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the processing facility is provided with an additional input and/or output.
- 12. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least one channel or at least a part of the system of channels are open on the side of substrate edge.
- 13. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the apparatus is suited for processing at least partly crystalline films.
- 14. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least part of the apparatus contacting with the anisotropic film is replaceable.
- 15. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the entire processing facility is made of the same material.
- 16. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the processing facility is made replaceable.
- 17. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the input of at least one channel or a system of channels contains at least one valve for controlling the supply rate of the working fluid.
- 18. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the output of at least one channel or a system of channels contains at least one valve for controlling the degree of rarefaction in the channels of the system of channels.
- 19. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the input of at least one channel or a system of channels contains means for switching the working fluid.
