Claims
- 1. A mold for producing opened at both ends elastomeric sleeves of complex configuration by utilizing dip molding technology, whereby a layer of coagulum from elastomeric suspension is deposited on external walls of a mold; said mold consists of an elongated shaft of arbitrary shape with external surface of a bottom overlaid with hydrophobic material.
- 2. The mold of claim 1, wherein the bottom of said mold is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and flat.
- 3. The mold of claim 1, wherein the bottom of said mold is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and has a concave shape.
- 4. The mold of claim 1, wherein the bottom of said mold has a convex pointed shape.
- 5. Modifications for adaptation of the prior art of dip molding to producing opened at both ends elastomeric sleeves comprising: (a) employing molds of claim 1; (b) adding at the stage of the process, directly following dipping into elastomeric suspension, washing sprinklers, wherein said sprinklers are timed and directed in a such a way that washing liquid is spewed at and only at bottoms of said molds, whereby coagulum layer loosely deposited on bottoms is washed off whereas coagulum layer deposited on the longitudinal walls of said molds is not effected.
