Abstract
The present invention provides a tent frame typically comprised of poles, side stay-bar components and roof brace components, said roof brace component is hinged on the tip end of the pole with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component is hinged on two adjacent poles, wherein said side stay-bar component is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars crossly hinged together to appear to flat top edge. This structure not only shares the weight of roof over the line-shaped side stay-bar components homogeneously efficiently avoiding point-loading happened, but also avoids stockpiling rain water, and further to avoid part portion damage of the tent roof and roof collapsing happened.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention


The present invention relates to tents, and more particularly to a tent frame structure with flat edges.


2. Description of Prior Art


In accordance with the conventional tent, as shown in FIG. 1, it is typically comprised of poles 1′, side stay-bar components 2′ and roof brace components 3′, therein said roof brace component 3′ is hinged on the tip end of the pole 1′ with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component 2′ is hinged on two adjacent poles 1′, and is constructed with a wide variety of sub-portion structures to make the tent have a variety of style.


But, among of the various tents, a side stay-bar component 2′ constructed by two straight member bars 21′ crossly hinged together is commonest, in which the apex joint points of the cross-hinged two member bars 21′ is projected evidently, as covering awning over, the top edges of the tent appear to waved line, it not only makes the weight of the roof of the tent focus on the several apex points to occur heterogeneous distribution of weighted and damage in the part portions of the tent roof, but also cause stockpiling rain water further to increase the damage of the tent roof, even occur collapsing.


OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a tent frame that has flat top edges for avoiding point-loading weighted and stockpiling rain water including damages of the tent roof and roof collapse occurred by itself.


For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a tent frame, which is typically comprised of poles, side stay-bar components and roof brace components, said roof brace component is hinged on the tip end of the pole with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component is hinged on two adjacent poles, wherein said side stay-bar component is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars crossly hinged together to appear to flat top edge.


Said side stay-bar component of the tent frame is composed of more than four scissors-shaped member bars to construct two inter-pivoted pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars to form flat top edge of roof, in which said two adjacent pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars are connected by crossing rare end to coordinated front end respectively in pivot junction.

Said side stay-bar component of the tent frame is composed of eight scissors-shaped member bars to construct four inter-pivoted pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars to form flat top edge of roof, in which said two adjacent pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars are connected by crossing rare end to coordinated front end respectively in pivot junction.


As utilizing above-mentioned project, due to the change of the shape of the member bar composed the side stay-bar component in the present invention, such like using scissors -shaped member bar instead of the conventional straight, the composed top edge of the tent frame appears to flat line without waved line as said conventional tent frame, so that the tent has four flat top edges after covering awning over the frame, it not only shares the weight of roof over the line-shaped side stay-bar components homogeneously efficiently avoiding point-loading happened, but also avoids stockpiling rain water, and further to avoid part portion damage of the tent roof and roof collapsing happened.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 2, a tent frame provided by the present invention is typically comprised of poles 1, side stay-bar components 2 and roof brace components 3, said roof brace 3 component is hinged on the tip end of the pole 1 with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component 2 is hinged on two adjacent poles 1.


Wherein, said side stay-bar component 2 is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars 21 crossly hinged together, the number of the scissors-shaped member bars 2 depends on the size of the tent, but the number always is even. The preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. 6, in which the side stay-bar component 2 is constructed of six scissors-shaped member bars 21 to compose three pairs of inter-pivoted pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars 21 to form flat top edge of roof, in which said two adjacent pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars 21 are connected by crossing rare end to coordinated front end respectively in pivot junction. In the same way, the others even numbers of the scissors-shaped member bars are arranged as same as the same, not repeat in here.


The present invention changes the shape of the member bar composed the side stay-bar component 2 in the design, such like using scissors-shaped member bar 21 instead of the conventional straight, the composed top edge of the tent frame appears to flat line without waved line as said conventional tent frame, so that the tent has four flat top edges after covering awning over the frame, it not only shares the weight of roof over the line-shaped side stay-bar components 2 homogeneously efficiently avoiding point-loading happened, but also avoids stockpiling rain water, and further to avoid part portion damage of the tent roof and roof collapsing happened.


The structure of the side stay-bar component 2 in the present invention also can be used in the roof brace component 3; the similar structure is not shown in drawings. In this case, the roof brace component 3 is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars crossly hinged together, a tent frame including more than eight cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars is for example, the number of the scissors-shaped member bars depends on the size of the tent, in which two adjacent pairs of the cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars can be serially connected in pin junction with the coordinated ends, in the top center of the tent frame the four double-ends coming from the four corners are hinged together whatever four upper ends or low ends, by changing the shape of the member bar of the roof brace component 3, the present invention takes collapsible scissors-shaped member bar instead of the conventional straight member bar to form a level roof constructed by horizontal-hinged roof brace components, therefore the level tent roof and said four flat edges construct a quadratic tent frame, and after covering awning over it a quadratic tent with a plain roof is built on different from the conventional tent with a church roof, this structure can be used in composing large size series tent with more beautiful and functional.


The present invention is suitable to be used in various tents replacing the side stay-bar components 2 and the roof brace components 3 of the conventional tent frame, within the detail structure is not limited by the drawings in the embodiments.

  • 1. A tent frame typically comprised of poles, side stay-bar components and roof brace components, said roof brace component is hinged on the tip end of the pole with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component is hinged on two adjacent poles, wherein said side stay-bar component is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars crossly hinged together to appear to flat top edge.

A tent frame as claimed in claim 1, wherein said side stay-bar component of the tent frame is composed of more than four scissors-shaped member bars to construct two inter-pivoted pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars to form flat top edge of roof, in which said two adjacent pairs of cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars are connected by crossing rare end to coordinated front end respectively in pivot junction.

A tent frame typically comprised of poles, side stay-bar components and roof brace components, said roof brace component is hinged on the tip end of the pole with one end, and another end is hinged to others, said side stay-bar component is hinged on two adjacent poles, wherein said side stay-bar component is constructed at least of two scissors-shaped member bars crossly hinged together to appear to flat top edge.
  • 4. a tent frame as claimed in claim 1, wherein said roof brace component is constructed by more than eight cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars, in which four pairs of the ends of the cross-hinged scissors-shaped member bars are hinged on the top center together by connecting four coordinated upper ends together in one point, and the four low coordinated ends in another point, so that the roof of the tent frame appears to flat.
