Claims
- 1. A navigation apparatus comprising:
an input device for inputting a destination or a place on route as retrieve condition; a transmitting and receiving device for transmitting the input retrieve condition to an external center and for receiving road data corresponding to said retrieve condition, transmitting priority order of said road data being given beforehand at every sort of road; and a display controller for displaying a map on the basis of road data of which reception has been completed when the road data reception is interrupted by radio disturbance.
- 2. A terminal apparatus for a mobile body comprising:
an input device for inputting retrieving condition of a destination or a place on route; a transmitting and receiving device for transmitting the input retrieve condition to a center and for receiving road data corresponding to said retrieving condition, said road data being retrieved by the center on the basis of the input retrieve condition and being transmitted at every sort of road; and a map display for displaying a map by using road data of sorts of roads of which reception have been completed when the road data reception is interrupted.
- 3. A terminal apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein when the road data reception is interrupted, said transmitting and receiving device demands to re-transmit map data of sorts of roads subsequent to the map data of the sort of road of which reception has not been completed, and said map display displays the re-transmitted data by adding to the map which has been displayed.
- 4. A map data distribution method for a mobile body comprising the steps of:
receiving coordinate information of a present place and destination information from a terminal; retrieving a recommended route on the basis of the received information of the present place and the destination; obtaining map data including the recommended route from map data stored in a map data database; and transmitting road information of the obtained map data to the terminal at every sort of road.
- 5. A navigation apparatus comprising:
a place input device for inputting coordinate information of an object place; a locator for obtaining coordinate information of a present place; and a display for displaying map data from a server; communication means for demanding retrieving of a recommended route to a server on the basis of the obtained object place and the obtained present place, and for receiving map data controlled at every sort of road and including a guidance path and guidance path information retrieved by the server, wherein map data of sorts of roads of which reception having been completed are displayed on the display and subsequently received map data of sorts of roads are displayed by sending added to the display.
- 6. A map data distribution method comprising:
receiving an amount of demand data for memorizing map data and retrieving condition such as a destination and a place on route transmitted from an on-board terminal; retrieving a map on the basis of the retrieving condition; and editing a data amount of the retrieved map so that it becomes less than the demand data amount when the retrieved map data amount is larger than the demand data amount to transmit the revised data amount to the on-board terminal.
- 7. A map data server comprising:
a receiver for receiving map retrieval demand including position information of a destination or a place on route and. an upper limit of an amount of demand data; a retrieval device for retrieving a map on the basis of the position information of the map retrieval demand received; and a transmitter for editing a data amount of a retrieved map so that it becomes smaller than the upper limit of the demand data amount when it is larger than the upper limit of the demand data amount and for transmitting the edited data.
- 8. A map data server comprising:
a receiver for receiving position information of a destination or a place on route and an upper limit of an amount of data; a retrieval device for retrieving a map on the basis of the received position information; and a transmitter for editing data of sort of road in accordance with the upper limit of the data amount from a retrieved map when the retrieved map data amount is larger than the upper limit of the data amount and for transmitting the edited data.
- 9. A registered spot information control method of a server comprising:
receiving facility information and latitude and longitude information transmitted from a terminal of a mobile body; registering the received facility information and the latitude and longitude information as spot information by relating to user information authenticated with respect to the mobile body terminal; taking care of the registered spot information at every user information; and allowing to refer to the user information registered at every user information by designation from another mobile body which is authenticated as another user.
- 10. A registered spot information control method of a server as claimed in claim 9, further comprising:
transmitting the spot information, which the user authenticated with respect to the mobile body terminal has registered, to the mobile body terminal as information of a destination and a place on route in response to demand from the mobile body terminal, and making it possible to set the transmitted spot information as information of a destination or a place on route at the mobile body terminal.
