Claims
- 1. A tetrazole having the formula: ##STR22## wherein X.sup.1 is H, --C(Phenyl).sub.3, p-nitrobenzyl, or .beta.-propionitrile,
- X.sup.2 is ##STR23## R.sup.1 is alkyl of 3-10 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, alkenyl of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, alkynyl of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and benzyl substituted with up to two groups selected from alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, nitro and amino;
- R.sup.2 is ##STR24## R.sup.3 is H, F, Cl, Br, I, NO.sub.2, CF.sub.3, or CN; R.sup.6 is NR.sup.10 R.sup.11 ;
- R.sup.10 and R.sup.11 taken together to form a ring of the Formula ##STR25## Q is NR.sup.12, O or CH.sub.2 ; R.sup.12 is H, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or phenyl;
- n is 1 to 10;
- s is 0 to 5;
- t is 0;
- with the proviso that when X.sup.1 =H then X.sup.2 cannot be ##STR26##
- 2. The tetrazole of claim 1 wherein X.sup.1 is H, or --C(Phenyl).sub.3.
- 3. The tetrazole of claim 1 wherein
- R.sup.1 is alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl of 3 to 7 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.2 is ##STR27## R.sup.3 is H, Cl, Br, or I; and m is 1 to 5.
- 4. The tetrazole of claim 2 wherein
- R.sup.1 is alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl of 3 to 7 carbon atoms;
- R.sup.2 is ##STR28## R.sup.3 is H, Cl, Br, or I; and m is 1 to 5.
- 5. The tetrazole of claim 4 wherein
- R.sup.1 is alkyl of 3 to 7 carbon atoms; and
- R.sup.3 is Cl.
