Claims
- 1. A therapeutic pad comprising:
- (a) a liquid;
- (b) means to absorb said liquid, said liquid disposed within said liquid absorbing means;
- (c) a thin flexible envelope, said liquid absorbing means positioned inside said envelope; said liquid absorbing means in a compressed posture, said liquid absorbing means maintained in the compressed posture after said envelope is sealed; and
- (d) a cover, said cover positioned around said envelope.
- 2. The pad of claim 1, wherein said liquid absorbing means comprises a sponge.
- 3. The pad of claim 1, wherein said liquid absorbing means comprises a resilient structure.
- 4. The pad of claim 1 wherein said cover is formed from fabric.
- 5. The pad of claim 1, wherein said cover comprises a cotton fabric.
- 6. The pad of claim 1, wherein said liquid absorbing means is compressed to approximately forty percent of its uncompressed size.
- 7. The pad of claim 1, wherein said envelope is permanently sealed.
- 8. A therapeutic pad comprising:
- (a) a thin, flexible, permanently sealed envelope;
- (b) a liquid disposed within said envelope;
- (c) means for absorbing said liquid, said liquid absorbing means positioned in a compressed posture inside said envelope; and
- (d) a cover, said cover positioned around said envelope.
- 9. The pad of claim 8, wherein said liquid absorbing means comprises a sponge.
- 10. The pad of claim 8, wherein said liquid absorbing means comprises a resilient structure.
- 11. The pad of claim 8 wherein said cover is formed from fabric.
- 12. The pad of claim 8, wherein said cover comprises a cotton fabric.
- 13. The pad of claim 8, wherein said liquid absorbing means is compressed to approximately forty percent of its uncompressed size.
