Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present patent of a utility model refers to a therapeutical pillow, belonging to textile products field, developed in order to provide besides benefit resulting from its aromatization with medicinal herbs, also an emotional comfort arising from the elongation in arms and legs shapes that help in relieving affective need and insecurity—for both human beings and animals—at the same time it is an element for decoration and fun.

2. Prior Art

As it is common knowledge, conventional pillows are basically used to accommodate the people's head while sleeping or resting in a lying down position. However, for individuals who suffer from loneliness, affective need and insecurity, such aromatherapeutic artifices have limited acting due to such conditions generally require physical contact so that they can be minimized or solved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

By analyzing such fact the inventor developed the therapeutical pillow object of the present requirement of privilege, comprising a square-shaped pillow aromatized with several herbs—according to the necessary therapeutical function—and having arm(s) or arm(s) and leg(s) capable of “embracing” the users and transmitting security and psychological comfort, the usage intended for children and animals—mainly pets.

Its shape makes the user to accommodate himself/herself as he/she was laying his/her head on the chest of a person who is embracing him/her as is one “needs a lap” to obtain psychological comfort, security, and companion. In addition, besides the comfort resulting from inhalation of the medicinal aromas, it also can be used as decorative object due to its distinctive and funny presentation.

Therefore, the presented pillow has the requirements of registrability, since it solves the inconvenient proposed and introduces the functional inedited characteristics when compared with the actual state of art.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

For a better understanding the object will hereafter be described with reference to the attached drawings in which:

FIGS. 1.1 and 1.2 show the pillow having a single arm in frontal view, what is symmetrically identical to the back view, but in FIG. 1.2 it can be seen the arm in L position in relation to the pillow, the most common usage position;

FIG. 2 shows it with two arms; and

FIG. 3 shows it with two arms and two legs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

According to how much the above-mentioned figures illustrate, the therapeutical pillow object of the present requirement of register of usage model comprises: a square-shaped body (1) having in one of its vertexes an elongation in an arm shape (2) having a medial seam (3) and edge presenting a perimeter (4) and seams (5) that make them to look like a human hand. Its edges (6) are sewed and all its interior part is fulfilled with soft material that receives aromatic extracts that will take to the desired therapeutical benefits. It is to be pointed that the medial seam (3) gives wide movement to the arm (2) allowing it to “embrace” the user in all the possible ways.

Alternatively, the pillow can be produced with two arms (2) disposed in symmetric positions and also with two legs (7) that elongate the bottom transversal edge (8) and that ends in a feet shape (9).

Corollary to the exposed and illustrated it is concluded the TEHRAPEUTIC PILLOW” herein presented has the needed conditions to obtain the register of PATENT OF UTILITY MODEL herein claimed.
