Claims
- 1. A method of thermally insulating an inner member by an outer jacket comprises the steps of:
- providing said inner member;
- forming a flexible, generally rectangular insulation panel with a cover member and a thickness of insulation received by said cover member, said thickness of insulation being an alternating series of flexible insulation strips and rigid insulation strips;
- flexing said insulation panel around said inner member into a generally cylindrical shape; and
- securing said insulation panel so as to maintain said generally cylindrical shape and to enclose said thickness of insulation.

This application is a continuation of application Ser. No. 412,923, filed Sept. 26, 1989, which is a continuation-in-part patent application of my prior copending application, Ser. No. 309,658 filed Feb. 13, 1989 and now U.S. Pat. No. 4,878,459.
