Claims
- 1. A facsimile apparatus using a thermal transfer recording apparatus for transferring an ink of an ink sheet onto a recording medium to record an image on the recording medium, the facsimile apparatus comprising:
- input means for inputting an external command regarding a number of multi-print cycles of the ink sheet;
- determining means for determining a conveyance amount of the ink sheet with respect to a predetermined length of a recorded image on the recording medium when recording in accordance with the number of multi-print cycles of the ink sheet obtained by the input means; and
- conveying means for conveying the ink sheet in response to a conveyance amount of the ink sheet determined by the determining means when the predetermined length of the recorded image is recorded on the recording medium.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the ink of the ink sheet is a thermally meltable ink.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the ink of the ink sheet is a thermally sublimable ink.
- 4. A facsimile apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the recording medium and the ink sheet are conveyed in a different direction from each other when recording in a recording area.
- 5. A facsimile apparatus using a thermal transfer recording apparatus for transferring an ink of an ink sheet onto a recording medium to record an image on the recording medium, comprising:
- output means for outputting to the outside a command regarding a number of multi-print cycles of the ink sheet;
- input means for inputting from the outside an external command regarding the number of multi-print cycles of the ink sheet;
- determining means for determining a conveyance amount of the ink sheet with respect to a predetermined length of a recorded image on the recording medium when recording in accordance with the number of multi-print cycles of the ink sheet obtained by the input means; and
- conveying means for conveying the ink sheet in response to the conveyance amount determined by the determining means when the predetermined length of the recording image is recorded on the recording medium.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the ink of the ink sheet is a thermally meltable ink.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the ink of the ink sheet is a thermally sublimable ink.
- 8. A facsimile apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the recording medium and the ink sheet are conveyed in a different direction from each other when recording in a recording area.
