Claims
- 1. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium to be used for previously forming an image in a receptor layer of the intermediate transfer recording medium before the receptor layer is transferred to a transfer receiving material, the thermal transfer sheet comprising:a substrate film, a peelable layer disposed on the substrate film, and a heat fusible black ink layer disposed on the substrate film via the peelable layer, wherein said peelable layer is formed of a material having peelable property to the substrate film while having adhesive property to the transfer receiving material so that the peelable layer is transferred to the receptor layer of the intermediate transfer recording medium together with the heat fusible black ink layer when the image is formed in the receptor layer so as to constitute an uppermost layer of the receptor layer, the uppermost layer being adhesive to the transfer receiving material.
- 2. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said material forming the peelable layer comprises polyvinyl chloride resin or vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer resin.
- 3. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said peelable layer contains a release agent.
- 4. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said thermal transfer sheet further comprises a sublimation dye layer of at least one color so that the heat fusible black ink layer and the sublimation dye layer are alternately provided side by side on the substrate film.
- 5. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said thermal transfer sheet further comprises a release layer interposed between the substrate film and the peelable layer.
- 6. A thermal transfer sheet for an intermediate transfer recording medium according to claim 5, wherein said release layer comprises urethane resin and polyvinyl acetal resin.
