Claims
- 1. A thermal intake air measuring instrument comprising:
- first detecting means for detecting a physical quantity;
- driver means coupled to said first detecting means for converting said physical quantity detected by said first detecting means into an electrical signal;
- memory means for storing a relation between the output of said driver means and the output of the thermal type intake air flow measuring instrument;
- output means for generating an electric signal to be sent out; and
- control means for calculating a target value of output of the terminal type intake air flow measuring instrument on the basis of said relation, and for controlling said output means so that said electric signal to be sent out agrees with said target value.
- 2. The measuring instrument according to claim 1, further comprising second detecting means for detecting an air temperature, wherein said control means corrects the target value of output of the thermal type intake air flow measuring instrument according to the air temperature detected.
- 3. The measuring instrument according to claim 1, further comprising third detecting means for detecting a temperature of a part where said first detecting means is installed, wherein said control means corrects the target value of output of the thermal type intake air flow measuring instrument.
- 4. The measuring instrument according to claim 1, wherein said memory means has stored therein the relation between the output of said driver means and the output of the thermal type intake air flow measuring instrument prior to the production of a thermal type intake air flow measuring instrument.
- 5. The measuring instrument according to claim 1, wherein said output means is a frequency generator.
- 6. The measuring instrument according to claim 1, wherein said output means is a voltage generator.
- 7. A method of measuring intake air by use of a thermal type intake air measuring instrument, said method comprising the steps of:
- (a) detecting a physical quantity;
- (b) converting said physical quantity into an electric signal;
- (c) storing, in a memory, a relationship between the physical quantity detected in step (a) and an output of said thermal type intake air measuring instrument;
- (d) generating an output electric signal to be sent out from an output unit;
- (e) calculating a target value of said output of said thermal type intake air measuring instrument on the basis of said relationship stored in said memory; and
- (f) controlling said output unit so that said output electric signal coincides with said target value.
