Claims
- 1. Compounds having immuno suppressive activity of the formula: ##STR6## wherein R.sub.21 is methyl, ethyl, propyl or allyl; R.sup.24 and R.sup.32 are, independently, hydrogen or a protecting group for hydroxyl; R.sup.31 is hydrogen, methyl, or a protecting group for hydroxyl; and n is 1 or 2.
- 2. The compound of claim 1 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 are hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl or methyl and n is 2.
- 3. The compound of claim 1 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 are hydrogen, R.sup.21 is ethyl, R.sup.31 is hydrogen or methyl, and n is 2.
- 4. The compound of claim 1 wherein R.sup.24 is hydrogen, R.sup.32 is acetyl, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl and n is 2.
- 5. The compound of claim 1 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 are hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl and n is 1.
- 6. Compounds having immunosuppressant activity of the formula: ##STR7## wherein R.sup.21 is methyl, ethyl, propyl or allyl; R.sup.32 is hydrogen or a protecting group for hydroxyl; R.sup.31 is hydrogen, methyl, or a protecting group for hydroxyl; and n is 1 or 2.
- 7. The compound of claim 6 wherein R.sup.32 is hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl or methyl and n is 2.
- 8. The compound of claim 6 wherein R.sup.32 is hydrogen, R.sup.21 is ethyl, R.sup.31 is hydrogen or methyl an n is 2.
- 9. The compound of claim 6 wherein R.sup.32 is acetyl, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl, and n is 2.
- 10. The compound of claim 6 wherein R.sup.32 is hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl and n is 1.
- 11. Compounds having immunosuppressant activity produced by heating to a temperature of from 130.degree. to 150.degree. C. for a time of from 1 to 48 hours in an organic solvent a reactant compound of the formula; ##STR8## wherein R.sup.21 is methyl, ethyl, propyl or allyl, R.sup.24 and R.sup.32 are, independently, hydrogen or protecting group for hydroxyl, R.sup.31 is hydrogen, methyl or a protecting group for hydroxyl, and n is 1 or 2; and wherein said compounds having immunosuppressive activity are characterized by a downfield shift of the C.sub.28 -H of about 0.3 ppm relative to its chemical shift in the starting material.
- 12. The compound of claim 11 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 are hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl or methyl and n is 2.
- 13. The compound of claim 11 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 are hydrogen, R.sup.21 is ethyl, R.sup.31 is hydrogen or methyl, and n is 2.
- 14. The compound of claim 1 wherein R.sup.24 is hydrogen, R.sup.32 is acetyl, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl and n is 2.
- 15. The compound of claim 11 wherein R.sup.32 and R.sup.24 is hydrogen, R.sup.31 is methyl, R.sup.21 is allyl and n is 1.
