Abstract
A threaded tumbler bottle cap includes a cap handle, a cap base, and a strainer. The cap base includes a flange, an annular wall, an opening, and a lateral wall. The lateral wall that threadedly attaches to a tumbler is perimetrically connected around the annular wall. The opening that allows the stored beverage to flow through concentrically traverses through the annular wall. The flange is concentrically positioned around the opening and externally connected onto the annular wall so that the stored beverage can be discharged from the tumbler. The strainer is internally engaged within the flange to keep the ice cubes within the tumbler. The cap handle is threadedly engaged around the lateral wall as the annular wall and the flange being enclosed by the cap handle. The flange is hermetically pressed against the cap handle thus preventing any leakage of stored beverage.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a bottle cap and handle top. More specifically, a bottle handle is securely threaded onto a bottle cap that threadedly engaged around the bottle opening to create a waterproof attachment.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the bottle industry there are various types of bottles designed to ensure convenience in storing and transporting beverages. Unfortunately, many of these bottles contain design flaws that sacrifice a few benefits when creating a bottle cap design. Many of the bottles are designed to attempt to add convenience to the user by adding a drinking spicket, however they then neglect creating a bottle that is capable of being leakproof. Additionally, many other bottle designs are created to be leak proof but neglect convenience for the user by creating a complicated method of opening the water bottle. Many individuals attempt to create a bottle cap with multiple benefits but are designed with inferior materials which create the aforementioned design flaws.


An objective of the present invention is to provide users with a bottle cap and a bottle handle, to help eliminated existing bottle caps with design flaws and provide multiple benefits to the user. The present invention intends to provide users with a device that can more conveniently store and transport beverage while ensuring the bottle is properly waterproof. In order to accomplish that, the present invention includes the bottle handle and the bottle cap that threadedly engaged with any bottle opening. Further, the bottle handle has a bottle gasket that allows the bottle cap to ensure that the bottle does not leak any beverage. Thus, the present invention is a threaded tumbler bottle cap that allows the user to ensure any bottle can be easily and efficiently used while providing extra functionality.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is a threaded tumbler bottle cap to ensure convenience for the user. The present invention seeks to provide users with a device that can be attached to many different generic water bottles. In order to accomplish this the present invention comprises a bottle cap that can be threaded to any generic bottle to create a leakproof convenience for the user. The present invention further comprises a bottle handle that allows the user to hold the attached bottle easily and comfortably. Thus, the present invention is a threaded tumbler bottle cap that allows the user to ensure a bottle can be easily and efficiently used while providing extra functionality.

DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

All illustrations of the drawings are for the purpose of describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.


The present invention is a threaded tumbler bottle cap to ensure convenience for the user. The present invention seeks to provide users with a device that can be attached to many different generic water bottles. More specifically, the present invention is a threaded tumbler bottle cap that allows for the user to comfortably carry the attached water bottle while ensuring easy drinking from the water bottle and a leakproof design. As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the present invention comprises a cap handle 1, a cap base 6, and a strainer 16 to ensure a water bottle can be easily and efficiently used while providing extra functionality.


In reference to the general configuration, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the cap base 6 is threadedly attached to any generic water bottles so that the stored beverage within the water bottle can be discharged. The strainer 16 is internally engaged with the cap base 6 to separate any solid items such as ice cubs, fruits, vegetables, and any other solid beverage flavoring items from the stored beverage. The cap handle 1 is threadedly attached to the cap base 6 to ensure a comfortable grip for the user when carrying the water bottle and to prevent accidental leakage of stored beverage.


In reference to FIGS. 3-5, the cap base 6 comprises a flange 7, an annular wall 10, an opening 11, and a lateral wall 12 so that the opening 11 of the water bottle can be closed. The lateral wall 12 is perimetrically connected around the annular wall 10 to form the general shape of the cap base 6. More specifically, the lateral wall 12 is designed to fit around the opening 11 of the water bottle while the annular wall 10 is designed to positioned over the opening 11 of the water bottle. The opening 11 concentrically traverses through the annular wall 10 thus providing a channel to discharge the stored beverage through the annular wall 10. In order to easily release the stored beverage into user's mouth, the flange 7 is concentrically positioned around the opening 11 and externally connected onto the annular wall 10. As a result, the user can insert the flange 7 into user's mouth while consuming the stored beverage to prevent spillage.


The lateral wall 12 comprises a cap handle engaging section 13 and a bottle engaging section 15 as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5. The cap handle engaging section 13 is perimetrically connected around the annular wall 10 as the cap handle engaging section 13 is oriented downward from the annular wall 10. The bottle engaging section 15 is perimetrically connected around the cap handle engaging section 13, wherein the cap handle engaging section 13 functions as the interconnecting body between the annular wall 10 and the bottle engaging section 15. Furthermore, the bottle engaging section 15 is externally offset from the cap handle engaging section 13. In other words, the outer diameter of the bottle engaging section 15 is larger than the outer diameter of cap handle engaging section 13 so that the lateral wall 12 can hermetically seals the opening 11 of the water bottle. More specifically, the bottle engaging section 15 is integrated with at least one inner bottle thread that engages with an existing thread of the water bottle. Due to the offsetting feature of the bottle engaging section 15 and the cap handle engaging section 13, the cap handle engaging section 13 is then able to press upon a rim of the water bottle to delineate a hermetic connection. The cap handle engaging section 13 is integrated with at least one outer cap thread so that the cap handle 1 can be threadedly attached to the cap base 6.


The present invention can further comprise a rim gasket 17 as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5. More specifically, the rim gasket 17 is connected into the cap handle engaging section 13 through a bottom surface 14 of the cap handle engaging section 13. As a result, the rim gasket 17 is oriented toward the bottle engaging section 15 and radially positioned atop the rim of the water bottle when the cap base 6 is threadedly attached around the water bottle. The rim gasket 17 is able to create a hermetic seal so that the stored beverage does not leak through the lateral wall 12.


The cap handle 1 encloses the flange 7 and the annular wall 10 while allowing the user to comfortably carry the attached water bottle. In reference to FIGS. 6-8, the cap handle 1 that threadedly engaged around the lateral wall 12 comprises a handle body 2, an annular panel 3, a lateral panel 4, and an inner gasket 5. The lateral panel 4 is perimetrically connected around the annular panel 3 so that the flange 7 and the annular wall 10 can be enclosed. The lateral panel 4 is integrated with at least one inner cap thread so that the lateral wall 12 can engage with the at least one outer cap thread through the at least one inner cap thread. The handle body 2 is externally connected to the annular panel 3 thus allowing a surface area to grasp the present invention. Preferably, the handle body 2 is shaped into a wide upside-down U-shape body so that the user can put their fingers around the handle body 2 to grip the cap handle 1. The inner handle surface is created with a soft plastic material to ensure the cap handle 1 can be held and carried comfortably. It should be further noted that, the handle body 2 can be created in many various shapes and while still staying within the scope of the present invention. The inner gasket 5 is concentrically positioned to the annular panel 3 as the inner gasket 5 and the handle body 2 are oppositely positioned of each other about the annular panel 3. The inner gasket 5 is adjacently connected to the annular panel 3 so that the flange 7 can be hermetically pressed against the cap handle 1. More specifically, when cap handle 1 is threadedly attached to the cap base 6, the lateral panel 4 is threadedly engaged around the cap handle engaging section 13 of the lateral wall 12 thus allowing a free end 8 of the flange 7 to be hermetically positioned within the inner gasket 5. Aforementioned hermetic connection prevents beverage leakage through the flange 7 and cap handle 1 thus creating a proper seal.


The inner gasket 5 and the rim gasket 17 can be made of a silicone material with a circular shape and sized to the corresponding engaging components. The design and material selection ensure that the free end 8 of the flange 7 is pushed up against the inner gasket 5 and the rim of the water bottle is pressed up against the rim gasket 17. As a result, the present invention is able to provide a leak proof connection if the water bottle is tilted or knocked over.


In reference to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, the strainer 16 is internally engaged with the flange 7 to separate any solid items such as ice cubs, fruits, vegetables, and any other solid beverage flavoring items from the stored beverage. Depending upon the first configurations of the present invention, the strainer 16 can be flat circular body that is compressionally attached to a fixed end 9 of the flange 7 and positioned adjacent to the annular wall 10. Depending upon the second configurations of the present invention, the strainer 16 is removably mounted to the fixed of the flange 7. More specifically, a side wall of the strainer 16 is interlocked or engaged with the flange 7 about the annular wall 10.


The present invention is made of a polypropylene plastic material which is a sturdy and durable compound. The present invention is also manufactured as a dishwasher safe apparatus for easy cleanup.


Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims
  • 1. A threaded tumbler bottle cap comprising: a cap handle;a cap base;a strainer;the cap base comprising a flange, an annular wall, an opening, and a lateral wall;the lateral wall being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the opening concentrically traversing through the annular wall;the flange being concentrically positioned around the opening;the flange being externally connected onto the annular wall;the strainer being internally engaged within the flange;the cap handle being threadedly engaged around the lateral wall;the annular wall and the flange being enclosed by the cap handle; andthe flange being hermetically pressed against the cap handle.
  • 2. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 1 comprising: the lateral wall comprising a cap handle engaging section and a bottle engaging section;the cap handle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the bottle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the cap handle engaging section; andthe bottle engaging section being externally offset from the cap handle engaging section.
  • 3. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 2 comprising: a rim gasket;the rim gasket being connected within the cap handle engaging section; andthe rim gasket being oriented toward the bottle engaging section.
  • 4. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 1 comprising: the cap handle comprising a handle body, an annular panel, a lateral panel, and an inner gasket;the lateral panel being perimetrically connected around the annular panel;the handle body being externally connected to the annular panel;the inner gasket being concentrically positioned to the annular panel;the inner gasket and the handle body being oppositely positioned of each other about the annular panel; andthe inner gasket being connected to the annular panel.
  • 5. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 4 comprising: the lateral panel being threadedly engaged around a cap handle engaging section of the lateral wall; anda free end of the flange being hermetically positioned within the inner gasket.
  • 6. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strainer is compressionally attached to a fixed end of the flange.
  • 7. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strainer is removably mounted to a fixed end of the flange.
  • 8. A threaded tumbler bottle cap comprising: a cap handle;a cap base;a strainer;the cap base comprising a flange, an annular wall, an opening, and a lateral wall;the lateral wall comprising a cap handle engaging section and a bottle engaging section;the lateral wall being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the cap handle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the bottle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the cap handle engaging section;the opening concentrically traversing through the annular wall;the flange being concentrically positioned around the opening;the flange being externally connected onto the annular wall;the strainer being internally engaged within the flange;the cap handle being threadedly engaged around the lateral wall;the annular wall and the flange being enclosed by the cap handle; andthe flange being hermetically pressed against the cap handle.
  • 9. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 8, wherein the bottle engaging section is externally offset from the cap handle engaging section.
  • 10. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 9 comprising: a rim gasket;the rim gasket being connected within the cap handle engaging section; andthe rim gasket being oriented toward the bottle engaging section.
  • 11. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 8 comprising: the cap handle comprising a handle body, an annular panel, a lateral panel, and an inner gasket;the lateral panel being perimetrically connected around the annular panel;the handle body being externally connected to the annular panel;the inner gasket being concentrically positioned to the annular panel;the inner gasket and the handle body being oppositely positioned of each other about the annular panel; andthe inner gasket being connected to the annular panel.
  • 12. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 11 comprising: the lateral panel being threadedly engaged around a cap handle engaging section of the lateral wall; anda free end of the flange being hermetically positioned within the inner gasket.
  • 13. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 8, wherein the strainer is compressionally attached to a fixed end of the flange.
  • 14. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 8, wherein the strainer is removably mounted to a fixed end of the flange.
  • 15. A threaded tumbler bottle cap comprising: a cap handle;a cap base;a strainer;the cap base comprising a flange, an annular wall, an opening, and a lateral wall;the lateral wall comprising a cap handle engaging section and a bottle engaging section;the lateral wall being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the cap handle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the annular wall;the bottle engaging section being perimetrically connected around the cap handle engaging section;the bottle engaging section is externally offset from the cap handle engaging section;the opening concentrically traversing through the annular wall;the flange being concentrically positioned around the opening;the flange being externally connected onto the annular wall;the strainer being internally engaged within the flange;the cap handle being threadedly engaged around the lateral wall;the annular wall and the flange being enclosed by the cap handle; andthe flange being hermetically pressed against the cap handle.
  • 16. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 15 comprising: a rim gasket;the rim gasket being connected within the cap handle engaging section; andthe rim gasket being oriented toward the bottle engaging section.

The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 15 comprising: the cap handle comprising a handle body, an annular panel, a lateral panel, and an inner gasket;the lateral panel being perimetrically connected around the annular panel;the handle body being externally connected to the annular panel;the inner gasket being concentrically positioned to the annular panel;the inner gasket and the handle body being oppositely positioned of each other about the annular panel; andthe inner gasket being connected to the annular panel.
  • 18. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 17 comprising: the lateral panel being threadedly engaged around a cap handle engaging section of the lateral wall; anda free end of the flange being hermetically positioned within the inner gasket.
  • 19. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 15, wherein the strainer is compressionally attached to a fixed end of the flange.
  • 20. The threaded tumbler bottle cap as claimed in claim 15, wherein the strainer is removably mounted to a fixed end of the flange.
