Claims
- 1. For a triple service afterset, the combination of:
- base means to be disposed over power and communication cells of a cellular raceway;
- power cell aperture means formed by said base means, the power cell aperture means being for use in passing power cable;
- communication cell aperture means formed by said base means, the communication cell aperture means being for use in passing communication cable;
- means connected to said base means and forming receptacle bracket support means and ring support means;
- a pair of receptacle brackets for mounting on said receptacle bracket support means respectively in positions adjacent said power cell aperture means;
- ring means for mounting on said ring support means; and
- cover means for mounting on said ring means alternatively in position to cover the central part of the ring means or in position to uncover the central part of the ring means to provide access to the interior of the afterset and the cover means having means for passing cable.
- 2. The preset of claim 1 wherein:
- said means forming receptacle bracket support means comprises a first and a second pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each of the first and second pair of standards having a threaded hole for receiving a receptacle bracket hold down screw; and
- said means forming ring support means comprising a third and a fourth pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each standard of the third and fourth pair having a threaded hole for receiving a screw for mounting said ring means on said ring support means.
- 3. For a triple service afterset, the combination of:
- base means to be disposed over power and communication cells of a cellular raceway;
- power cell aperture means formed by said base means, the power cell aperture means being for use in passing power cable;
- communication cell aperture means formed by said base means, the communication cell aperture means being for use in passing communication cable;
- means connected to said base means and forming receptacle bracket support means and ring support means;
- a pair of receptacle brackets for mounting on said receptacle bracket support means respectively in positions adjacent said power cell aperture means;
- ring means for mounting on said ring support means, the ring means having a plurality of access apertures to provide access to adjusting screws;
- a plurality of adjusting screws for mounting on said ring support means for engaging and supporting said ring means, the screws being for use in adjusting the ring means in a vertical direction; and
- cover means for mounting on said ring means alternatively in position to cover the central part of the ring means or in position to uncover the central part of the ring means to provide access to the interior of the afterset and the cover means having means for passing cable.
- 4. The preset of claim 3 wherein:
- said means forming receptacle bracket support means comprises a first and a second pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each of the first and second pair of standards having a threaded hole for receiving a receptacle bracket hold down screw; and
- said means forming ring support means comprising a third and a fourth pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each standard of the third and fourth pair having a threaded hole for receiving an adjusting screw.
- 5. The combination of a triple service afterset, a cellular raceway and a concrete floor, the raceway and afterset each disposed in the concrete floor with the afterset extending through a bore:
- the cellular raceway comprising:
- (a) a central power cell and a pair of communication cells respectively disposed on opposite sides of the power cell, each cell having a crest;
- (b) the cellular raceway and said bore being relatively disposed so that the bore is in communication with the power and communication cells;
- (c) the power cell, within the confines of said bore, having a pair of spaced apart power cell access holes and each communication cell, within the confines of said bore, having a communication cell access hole;
- the triple service afterset comprising:
- (d) base means disposed at the bottom of said bore over the crests of said power and communication cells;
- (e) means securing said base means to said cellular raceway;
- (f) power cell aperture means formed by said base means in alignment with said power cell access openings;
- (g) communication cell aperture means formed by said base means in alignment with said communication cell access openings;
- (h) means forming receptacle bracket support means and forming ring support means each connected to said base means;
- (i) a pair of receptacle brackets supported by said receptacle bracket support means, the brackets being respectively disposed adjacent said power cell aperture means;
- (j) ring means mounted on said ring support means in a position above said receptacle brackets; and
- (k) cover means mounted on said ring means alternatively in position to cover the central part of the ring means or in position to uncover the central part of the ring means to provide access to the interior of the preset and the cover means having means for passing cable.
- 6. The combination of claim 5 wherein:
- said means forming receptacle bracket support means comprises a first and a second pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each of the first and second pair of standards having a threaded hole for receiving a receptacle bracket hold down screw; and
- said means forming ring support means comprising a third and a fourth pair of standards connected to and extending upwardly from the base and each standard of the third and fourth pair having a threaded hole for receiving a screw for mounting said ring means on said ring support means.
- 7. The combination of claim 6:
- wherein said ring means has a plurality of access apertures to provide access to adjusting screws; and
- further including a plurality of adjusting screws mounted on said ring support means and engaging and supporting said ring means and being accessible through said access apertures, the screws being for use in adjusting the ring means in a vertical direction.
