Claims
- 1. An electroconductive powder consisting essentially of about 0.1 to 10% by weight of silica and tin oxide doped with tantalum wherein said powder is substantially free of pyrochlore.
- 2. An electroconductive powder consisting essentially of about 0.1 to 10% by weight of silica and tin oxide doped with at least one member selected from the group of tantalum and niobium; wherein said powder is substantially free of pyrochlore.
- 3. An electroconductive powder consisting essentially of tin oxide which has been doped with phosphorus and at least one member from the group of Ta and Nb.
- 4. The electroconductive powder of claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein the distance from whiteness is less than about 20%.
- 5. The electroconductive powder of claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein said dopant ranges from about 0.25 to 15 wt % based upon the tin oxide.
- 6. The electroconductive powder of claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein said powder comprises crystallites that range is size from about 40-500 Angstroms.
- 7. The electroconductive powder of claim 1, 2 or 3 wherein said powder has a dry powder resistivity of about 0.1 to 1,000 Ohms.
- 8. The electroconductive powder of claim 3 further consisting essentially of silica.
