Abstract
A construction support structure contains: a plurality of first hollow posts, plural second hollow posts, and at least one platform. Each first hollow post includes at least one groove, and each groove has a first width section and a first narrow section, wherein a horizontal width of the first width section is more than the first narrow section. Each second hollow post includes two locking protrusions, and a distance between two sides of each locking protrusion is more than a distance between a top end and a bottom end of each locking protrusion, wherein each locking protrusion has a connecting section, a diameter of which is less than the distance between the two sides of each locking protrusion and the distance between the top end and the bottom end of each locking protrusion, and the connecting section corresponds to the first narrow section of each first hollow post.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a tip replacement structure for a riveter which allows replacing a tip of the riveter easily.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional riveter is employed to shoot a nail for connecting a workpiece on a predetermined position, and then it pulls a distal end of the nail into the workpiece, thus riveting the workpiece.


With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a conventional riveter contains: a holder 3, a clamping post 4, and a press stem 5. The clamping post 4 is movably disposed in the holder 3, and the holder 3 has a handle 31 extending outwardly from one end thereof, the press stem 5 is rotatably coupled with the holder 3 and corresponds to the handle 31, wherein the press stem 5 has two guiding pieces 51 inserted across two sides of the clamping post 4, such that after the press stem 5 is pressed, the two guiding pieces 51 drive the clamping post 4 to move, thus pulling a nail.


However, a tip of the riveter cannot be replaced based on using requirement.


The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a tip replacement structure for a riveter which allows replacing a tip of the riveter easily.


To obtain the above objective, a tip replacement structure for a riveter provided by the present invention contains: a griping assembly and a nail pulling unit.


The griping assembly includes a first handle, a second handle rotatably connected with the first handle, a returning spring fitted between the first handle and the second handle, a connection rod, a positioning plate, and a gasket fixed between the first handle and the positioning plate to form a clamping space between the first handle and the positioning plate, wherein a first end of the connection rod is rotatably connected with an inner surface of the second handle, and a second end of the connection rod has a driving section extending out of the first handle, the gasket, and the positioning plate, wherein the driving section has two retaining discs formed on a top end and a bottom end thereof, and a diameter of the two retaining discs is greater than that of the driving section.


The nail pulling unit includes a holder, a pull bolt, and an actuation member, wherein the holder has two ribs extending outwardly from two inner sides of a bottom end thereof and slidably retained in the clamping space, the holder also has an accommodation chamber defined therein to insert the driving section, wherein the holder further has an open side and a hollow tube extending outwardly from a top end thereof and communicating with the accommodation chamber, such that a front part of the pull bolt is fitted into the hollow tube, and a rear part of the pull bolt is accommodated in the accommodation chamber.


The pull bolt has two drive slots formed on two side surfaces of the rear part thereof, the actuation member has an intermediate portion rotatably coupled with the accommodation chamber, a first engagement section arranged on a first end thereof to insert across two sides of the driving section and defined between the two retaining discs, and a second engagement section formed on a second end thereof to insert across the two drive slots of the two sides of the pull bolt.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIGS. 3 to 9, a tip replacement structure for a riveter according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention allows replacing a tip of the riveter easily and comprises: a griping assembly 1 and a nail pulling unit 2.


The griping assembly 1 includes a first handle 11, a second handle 12 rotatably connected with the first handle 11, a returning spring 13 fitted between the first handle 11 and the second handle 12 to provide a returning elasticity after pressing the first handle 11 and the second handle 12, a connection rod 14, a positioning plate 15, and a gasket 16 fixed between the first handle 11 and the positioning plate 15 to form a clamping space 17 between the first handle 11 and the positioning plate 15, wherein a first end of the connection rod 14 is rotatably connected with an inner surface of the second handle 12, and a second end of the connection rod 14 has a driving section 141 extending out of the first handle 11, the gasket 16, and the positioning plate 15, wherein the driving section 141 has two retaining discs 142 formed on a top end and a bottom end thereof, and a diameter of the two retaining discs 142 is greater than that of the driving section 141.


The nail pulling unit 2 includes a holder 21, a pull bolt 22, and an actuation member 23. The holder 21 has two ribs 211 extending outwardly from two inner sides of a bottom end thereof and slidably retained in the clamping space 17, the holder 21 also has an accommodation chamber 212 defined therein to insert the driving section 141, wherein the holder 21 further has an open side and a hollow tube 213 extending outwardly from a top end thereof and communicating with the accommodation chamber 212, such that a front part of the pull bolt 22 is fitted into the hollow tube 213, and a rear part of the pull bolt 22 is accommodated in the accommodation chamber 212. The pull bolt 22 has two drive slots 221 formed on two side surfaces of the rear part thereof. The actuation member 23 has an intermediate portion rotatably coupled with the accommodation chamber 212, a first engagement section 231 arranged on a first end thereof to insert across two sides of the driving section 141 and defined between the two retaining discs 142, and a second engagement section 232 formed on a second end thereof to insert across the two drive slots 221 of the two sides of the pull bolt 22.


Thereby, the holder 21 is slidably retained with the griping assembly 1 (as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5) by ways of the two ribs 211 and the clamping space 17, and when the holder 21 is assembled or disassembled, the driving section 141 of the connection rod 14 is fitted into the accommodation chamber 212 and movably engages with the first engagement section 231. After pressing the first handle 11 and the second handle 12, the connection rod 14 is driven by the first handle 11 and the second handle 12 to extend into the accommodation chamber 212 so that the first engagement section 231 actuates the second engaging section 22 to drive the pull bolt 22 to move backwardly, thus pulling a nail (as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7).


In addition, two protrusions 214 extend outwardly from two inner surfaces of the accommodation chamber 212, wherein a width of a gap between the two protrusions 214 is less than the diameter of the two retaining discs 142, such that when the griping assembly 1 is connected with the nail pulling unit 2, the two retaining discs 142 align with the two protrusions 214, thus limiting a pulling direction of the holder 21.


Accordingly, the pull bolt 22 is replaced to a rivet, a blind bolt, a rivet nut or an anchor bolt by using the nail pulling unit 2 and the griping assembly 1 easily. Referring further to FIGS. 8 and 9, the griping assembly 1 is rotatably connected with the holder 21 by means of the connection rod 14, hence the holder 21 rotates 180 degrees relative to the griping assembly 1, thus pulling the nail within 180 degrees.


While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiments of the invention and other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims
  • 1. A tip replacement structure for a riveter comprising: a griping assembly and a nail pulling unit; wherein the griping assembly includes a first handle, a second handle rotatably connected with the first handle, a returning spring fitted between the first handle and the second handle, a connection rod, a positioning plate, and a gasket fixed between the first handle and the positioning plate to form a clamping space between the first handle and the positioning plate, wherein a first end of the connection rod is rotatably connected with an inner surface of the second handle, and a second end of the connection rod has a driving section extending out of the first handle, the gasket, and the positioning plate, wherein the driving section has two retaining discs formed on a top end and a bottom end thereof, and a diameter of the two retaining discs is greater than that of the driving section;the nail pulling unit includes a holder, a pull bolt, and an actuation member, wherein the holder has two ribs extending outwardly from two inner sides of a bottom end thereof and slidably retained in the clamping space, the holder also has an accommodation chamber defined therein to insert the driving section, wherein the holder further has an open side and a hollow tube extending outwardly from a top end thereof and communicating with the accommodation chamber, such that a front part of the pull bolt is fitted into the hollow tube, and a rear part of the pull bolt is accommodated in the accommodation chamber; andthe pull bolt has two drive slots formed on two side surfaces of the rear part thereof, the actuation member has an intermediate portion rotatably coupled with the accommodation chamber, a first engagement section arranged on a first end thereof to insert across two sides of the driving section and defined between the two retaining discs, and a second engagement section formed on a second end thereof to insert across the two drive slots of the two sides of the pull bolt.
  • 2. The tip replacement structure for the riveter as claimed in claim 1, wherein two protrusions extend outwardly from two inner surfaces of the accommodation chamber, and a width of a gap between the two protrusions is less than the diameter of the two retaining discs.
