The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
The present invention relates generally to the field of dispensers and more specifically relates to a tissue dispenser.
Facial tissue refers to a class of soft, absorbent, disposable papers that are suitable for use on the face. They are disposable alternatives for cloth handkerchiefs. The terms are commonly used to refer to the type of paper tissue, usually sold in boxes, that is designed to facilitate the expulsion of nasal mucus from the nose. Many individuals keep travel sized tissues in the glove compartment or console of their vehicle. It can be difficult for the driver and passengers of the car to reach a tissue when needed. Drivers may have difficulty reaching for a tissue while driving. Keeping a larger box of tissues in a vehicle often results in the box sliding around the vehicle and ending up with the box crushed on the floor of the backseat. A suitable solution is desired.
U.S. Pub. No. 2015/0001238 to Linda R. Franklin relates to a tissue dispenser with integral waste receptacle. The described tissue dispenser with integral waste receptacle includes a tissue dispenser having a tissue container having a plurality of walls forming a rectangular-shaped hollow interior space for holding clean tissues and a dispensing opening for removing the clean tissues from the interior space, and a plastic bag having an interior cavity separate from the interior space and an access opening for inserting soiled tissues into the interior cavity. The plastic bag is secured to the container and lays flat against an exterior surface of the container when the plastic bag is empty. At least a portion of the plastic bag is stretchable so that the plastic bag elastically expands when the soiled tissues are inserted into the plastic bag to hold and retain the soiled tissues within the plastic bag.
In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known dispenser art, the present disclosure provides a novel tissue box holder system. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a holder for cube-shaped tissue boxes which can be mounted on the dashboard of a vehicle.
A tissue box holder system is disclosed herein. The tissue box holder system includes a tissue dispenser assembly including a receptacle having a plurality of sidewalls, and a base having a fastener, and a receiver. The tissue dispenser assembly includes the receptacle defined by the plurality of sidewalls and configured to receive a tissue box and dispense tissues therefrom. The fastener of the base is configured to mate with the receiver and secure the tissue dispenser assembly to a planar surface such as a dashboard of a vehicle. The base is removably coupled to the receptacle. The base may be removed to replace the tissue box when empty. The receiver is first applied to a planar surface of choice and when coupled to the fastener, prevents movement of the receptacle. The device allows for access to tissues and provides a housing for a tissue box.
For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention which are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.
The figures which accompany the written portion of this specification illustrate embodiments and methods of use for the present disclosure, a tissue box holder system, constructed and operative according to the teachings of the present disclosure.
The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a dispenser and more particularly to a tissue box holder system as used to improve the mounting of a tissue box on a surface for use.
Generally, the present invention provides a holder for cube-shaped tissue boxes that can be mounted on the dashboard of a vehicle. This allows for access to tissues by either the driver or the front seat passenger. It positions the opening of the box on the side instead of on the top to provide accessibility. This further ensures that the tissue box is secured to the dashboard to prevent it from sliding around the vehicle. The present invention affords users the ability to easily replace the tissue box within the holder when empty.
Tissue box holder system is designed to secure a full-size tissue box to the dashboard of a vehicle. The invention is comprised of a tissue holder made from metal, plastic, leather, or other suitable material with an oval opening on the side/front for easy access to the tissues. The base of the holder may be secured to the dashboard using hook and loop fasteners or adhesive. There may be a lock release button on each side to remove the base. When the base is removed, there is easy access to refill the tissues by inserting the entire tissue box inside. The holder is intended for use in a vehicle but may be mounted in other desired locations. The holder may be available in various colors, designs, materials, and finishes.
Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in
The embodiments of the invention described herein are exemplary and numerous modifications, variations and rearrangements can be readily envisioned to achieve substantially equivalent results, all of which are intended to be embraced within the spirit and scope of the invention. Further, the purpose of the foregoing abstract is to enable the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally, and especially the scientist, engineers and practitioners in the art who are not familiar with patent or legal terms or phraseology, to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and essence of the technical disclosure of the application.
The present application is related to and claims priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62/554,396 filed Sep. 5, 2017, which is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.
