Claims
- 1. An organo-titanate which is an adduct of one mole of a tetra-substituted titanate having the formula (RO).sub.4 Ti and two moles of a di-substituted hydrogen phosphite having the formula (R'O).sub.2 P(O)H wherein R and R' are monovalent, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl groups or alkoxy, aryloxy, bromo or chloro-substituted derivatives thereof and wherein R has from 1 to 18 carbon atoms and R' from 3 to 18 carbon atoms.
- 2. The organo-titanate of claim 1 wherein R is an alkyl group containing from 3 to 12 carbon atoms and R' is an alkyl group containing from 6 to 14 carbon atoms.
- 3. The organo-titanate of claim 1 wherein R is an alkyl group containing from 3 to 12 carbon atoms and R' is an alkyl group containing from 3 to 18 carbon atoms.
- 4. The organo-titanate of claim 2 wherein R is octyl or decyl and R' is lauryl or octyl.
- 5. The organo-titanate of claim 2 wherein R is isopropyl and R' is octyl or lauryl.
- 6. A tetra-alkyl titanate di(dialkyl phosphite) wherein each alkyl group has from 3 to 12 carbon atoms.
- 7. The titanate of claim 6 wherein the tetraalkyl is tetraisopropyl and the dialkyl phosphite is dioctyl phosphite and dilauryl phosphite.
