Claims
- 1. A method of coating a magnet wire substrate comprising applying to an electrically conductive wire substrate at least one layer of an enamel composition comprising nylon reacted with 0.25% to 20% by weight of a titanium chelate.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the titanium chelate is selected from the group consisting of titanium acetyl acetonate, titanium ethyl acetyl acetonate, titanium triethanolamine chelate, and the ammonium salt of titanium lactic acid chelate.
- 3. The method of claim 1 which includes applying a layer of polyester to the electrically conductive substrate prior to application of the nylon.
- 4. The method of claim 1 including applying a layer of polyurethane on the electrically conductive substrate prior to applying the nylon layer and applying a layer of polyvinyl butyral over the nylon layer.
