About half of middle-aged and elderly men are suffered from constipation in varying degrees, I am no exception. Medication is still the mainstay of constipation; however, we are unfamiliar with medicine; we hope we can find some other ways to help people to defecate.
Different from the situation as in the U.S.; in many other countries some commercial houses are equipped with seating toilets, while the others are equipped with squatting toilets. Therefore, people often struggle when buying a house. Because on one hand they know that using squatting defecation will make the defecation go smoothly; but on the hand they also know that the squatting toilet is not suitable for the elderly and children at home to use.
In 2003, Israeli doctor Dov Sikirove published an article “Comparing the Effects of Different Postures on Defecation” in the journal “Gastrointestinal Diseases and Science”. He believes that when people adopt different postures to defecate, the angle of the puborectalis muscle inside the human body is different, which will affect the smoothness of defecation.
We are not familiar with anatomy either. We can only do some analysis from the usual point of view, and we hope we can find out some way to help people to defecate.
Some people said on the Internet: when people take squatting posture to defecate, the buttocks of human body is in a folded state of about 35 degrees. We believe that when a person's hips are folded at such a high angle, the muscles of the buttocks will be in a state of extreme longitudinal stretch; and the stretched buttock muscles will be inevitably to relaxes one's anus, which results in facilitating the person to defecate.
However, when someone takes a siting posture for defecation, the folding angle of his buttocks is in about 90 degrees. Such a folding angle is unlikely to play any role in the smoothness or not of said defecation. So, we need to find some other ways on the toilet seat. Our way is, first to transform the upper surface of the ordinary plastic toilet seat into an obviously inclined upper surface from its periphery to its center; and then we to transform the upper surface of the left and right two areas of the toilet seat from two smooth surface areas into two rough surface areas. Therefore, when someone sits on such a toilet seat for defecation, the two rough surface areas will “grab” the respective muscles of the left and right sides of the person's buttocks, make them cannot continue to slide down and hereby get into a lift-right tension state, which will inevitably to loosen the person's anus from the left and right two sides, and resulted in facilitates the person to defecation.
A traditional toilet seat is just a smooth toilet seat made of wood or plastic; its function is just to provide a comfortable and smooth cushion for people to set on it for defecation and prevent them buttocks from touching the cold ceramic toilet body below.
There are some kind of so-called smart toilet seats on the market in recent years. That means some manufacturers wish to give the traditional toilet seat with some extra functions. However, we haven't seen any of the so-called smart toilet seat to have the function of facilitating people to defecate.
Something called “a toilet footrest” has existed for a long time. It is a low foot stool for putting in front of a seating toilet, let people to put foot on it, and then take a squatting posture to defecate into the seating toilet. However, we believe it belongs to a device of squatting defecation.
What are drawn on the illustration page, are 3 structural schematic diagrams of an embodiment of the present invention “A toilet seat that facilitates defecation” (hereinafter it is called as “the toilet seat we designed”).
A product of the present invention will be a removable plastic toilet seat that is for putting on a certain seating toilet set to use. Therefore, its top view profile should be like the top view profile of the corresponding seating toilet set below it.
