BACKGROUND

There are mainly two types of commercial and consumer rolled toilet papers such as cored roll and coreless or solid roll. The cored roll has a center tube that mounts on a spindle of the cored roll dispenser. The coreless or solid roll dispenser normally has two shafts or plungers to mount the rolls. Various designs and configurations are made for the purpose of the usable dispensers through various methods and apparatuses by many prior arts. The existing coreless or solid rolls do not fit into conventional cored roll dispensers while the cored rolls cannot fit into the coreless or solid dispensers either. Additionally, the existing dispensers either cored or coreless have multiple parts and require multiple steps to install. This increases the manufactures cost and is inconvenient for using.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is desired to provide an efficient and low cost dispenser. It has little parts to avoid complication. It is easy to install and convenient to use. Additionally, it can be adapted to both cored rolls and coreless or solid rolls.

The invention relates a dispenser for rolled paper like toilet tissue roll. It mainly consists of two semi cylinders (upper and lower parts) that can form a whole closed cylinder with an open cutout. The two semi-cylinders both have two closed flat ends. This dispenser is positioned at a horizontal axis. The lower semi-cylinder is functioned as a receptacle which holds and supports the roll as it turns. The roll paper can be passed through the cutout on the lower semi-cylinder. The upper semi-cylinder is functioned as an upper cover and is hinged to the lower semi-cylinder. The hinges are positioned at the edge of the closed flat semi-cylinders' ends. The upper cover can be lift up and have enough space for fully opening to load the paper roll. The dispenser is properly positioned to the wall through a mounting bracket. This bracket has shaped to the lower semi-cylinder's rear exterior surface. It is mounted to the dispenser securely for adapting to the wall. The dispenser is attached to the wall by fasteners which extend through recessed bores in the lower semi-cylinder, the mounting bracket and the wall. The whole dispenser can be rotated a certain angle around horizontal axis that makes tissue paper easily pass through and the dispenser can be easily installed. This design provides two types of dispensers which their materials are different. The opacity one (can be metal or other solid materials) can have geometric shapes of opened apertures at cylinder's ends for viewing the remaining rolled paper. The transparency or translucence one might not need the opened apertures.

Compare to traditional toilet paper dispenser, the new invention provides a covered toilet paper holder. It can prevent pets to unroll the tissue paper and keep the paper sanitary. It can also be easily used and installed. This dispenser can be used in other rolled products.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an opened rolled paper dispenser which material is transparent or translucence according to the invention.

FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of a closed rolled paper dispenser which material is transparent or translucence according to the invention.

FIG. 3 shows a perspective back view of a closed rolled paper dispenser which material is transparent or translucence according to the invention.

FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of an opened rolled paper dispenser with opened apertures which material is opacity according to the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention, the new and improved dispenser for cored or coreless rolled paper is comprised a few components. The components include a lower semi-cylinder as a receiver, an upper semi-cylinder as an upper cover, a hinge that connects two semi-cylinders, an adaptable mounting bracket, an axial slot and opened apertures for viewing the remaining rolled paper.

Referring now to the drawings, FIG. 1 illustrates the improved dispenser in opened status ready for loading rolled paper like toilet tissue. Its material can be plastic that is transparency or translucence. The dispenser mainly consists of two semi-cylinders (upper 2 and lower 1). This dispenser is positional about its central axis at a horizontal orientation. The lower semi-cylinder 1 is functioned as a receptacle which supports the roll as it turns. It has two closed flat ends 3. An outlet slot 5 is on the edge of the lower semi-cylinder through which to pull the paper sheet. The upper semi-cylinder 2 is functioned as an upper cover. It has two closed flat ends 3. That upper cover 2 can be lift up and have enough space for the fully opening to load the paper roll. A hinge 4 is used to connect the upper semi-cylinder 2 and the lower semi-cylinder 1. The hinge 4 is positioned at edge of the closed flat semi-cylinders' ends 3.

FIG. 2 illustrates the improved dispenser in closed status ready for convenient use. The upper semi-cylinder 2 turns down to form a closed whole cylinder. The whole dispenser can be rotated around a certain angles through horizontal axis that let tissue paper easily pass out and have the dispenser easily installed. This new design provides a covered toilet paper holder. It can prevent pets to unroll the tissue paper and keep the paper sanitary.

FIG. 3 illustrates a perspective back view of the improved dispenser in a closed form. The dispenser is proper positioned to the wall through a mounting bracket 7. This bracket 7 has one side shaped to the lower semi-cylinder's rear exterior surface and another side is flat to attach to a wall. It is mounted to the dispenser securely as an adaptor in order to attach to the wall. The dispenser is mounted to the wall by fasteners which extend through recessed bores 6 in the lower semi-cylinder, the mounting bracket and the wall.

FIG. 4 illustrates the improved dispenser with the open apertures. The dispenser can be manufactured from opacity materials (such as metal or other solid materials). The apertures 8 at cylinder's ends 3 can be used to view the remaining rolled paper. The apertures 8 can be other geometric shapes. The dispenser with transparency or translucence materials might not need the opened apertures.

Claims
  • 1. An improved rolled paper dispenser, it comprising: Two semi cylinders (upper and lower parts) form a closed whole cylindrical dispenser. This dispenser is positioned at a horizontal axis and is mounted on the wall. Each semi-cylinder has two closed flat ends. The whole dispenser can be rotated a certain angle around its horizontal axis so that the tissue paper can be easily pass through and the dispenser can be easily installed.
  • 2. The dispenser according to claim 1, the lower semi-cylinder is functioned as a container. It holds the paper roll (either cored roll or coreless roll) and supports the roll as it turns. There is an axial cutout on it which the roll can be passed through.
  • 3. The dispenser according to claim 1, the upper semi-cylinder is functioned as an upper cover. It can be lift up and has enough space for the fully opening to insert a new paper roll. When it turns down and is closed, the closed cylinder can be functional dispensing roll tissue and keeps the paper sanitary.
  • 4. The dispenser according to claim 1, the two semi-cylinders are hinged to each other. The hinges are positioned at the edge of the closed flat semi-cylinders' ends.
  • 5. The dispenser according to claim 1, the dispenser is properly mounted to the wall through a mounting bracket. This bracket has shaped to the lower semi-cylinder's rear exterior surface. It is mounted to the dispenser securely in order to adapt the dispenser to the wall. The dispenser is attached to the wall by fasteners which extend through recessed bores in the lower semi-cylinder, the mounting bracket and the wall.
  • 6. The dispenser according to claim 1, the dispenser can be manufactured using metal or other solid materials. The other geometric shapes of opened apertures can be formed at cylinder's flat ends for viewing the remaining rolled paper.
