Claims
- 1. A method of inhibiting the progression of a cutaneous tumor comprising topical application of at least one composition containing a non-denatured, soy product in an amount of from about 0.01-99% by weight in a carrier.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition is applied at least once daily on a continuous basis.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition is applied at least twice daily for at least eight weeks and at least once daily on a continuous basis thereafter.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition comprises 0.05-80% by weight of said soy product and is applied for at least about four to about ten weeks followed by topical application of a composition comprising 0.01-20% by weight of said soy product on a daily basis thereafter.
- 5. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
- 6. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-inflammatory agent.
- 7. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-cancer agent.
- 8. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-oxidant.
- 9. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one sunscreen.
- 10. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises from about 1 to about 99% soy bean milk, from about 0.1 to about 20% emulsifier, and a preservative in an effective amount.
- 11. The method of claim 10 wherein said composition further comprises an anti-oxidant.
- 12. The method of claim 10, wherein said composition further composition further comprises an anti cancer agent.
- 13. The method claim 10, wherein said composition further comprises at least one agent selected from the group consisting of anti-oxidants, sunscreens, moisturizers, bleaching agents, depigmentation agents, darkening agents, surfactants, foaming agents, conditioners, humectants, fragrances, anti-aging agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-cancer agents.
- 14. The method of claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises from about 0.1 to about 20% soy bean powder or soy milk powder, from about 0.1 to about 20% emulsifier, and a preservative in an effective amount.
- 15. The method of claim 14, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-cancer agent.
- 16. The method of claim 14, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-oxidant.
- 17. The method of claim 14, wherein said composition further comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of anti-oxidants, sunscreens, moisturizers, bleaching agents, depigmentation agents, darkening agents, surfactants, foaming agents, conditioners, humectants, fragrances, anti-aging agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-cancer agents.
- 18. A method for preventing and reducing the risk of skin cancer comprising topical application of at least one composition containing a non-denatured, soy product in an amount of from about 0.01-99% by weight in a carrier.
- 19. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition is applied at least once daily on a continuous basis.
- 20. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition is applied at least twice daily for at least eight weeks and at least once daily on a continuous basis thereafter.
- 21. The method of claim 18, wherein said soy product composition comprises 0.05-80% by weight and is applied for at least about four to about ten weeks followed by topical application of a composition comprising 0.01-20% by weight of said soy product on a daily basis thereafter.
- 22. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
- 23. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-inflammatory agent.
- 24. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-cancer agent.
- 25. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-oxidant.
- 26. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises at least one sunscreen.
- 27. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises from about 1 to about 99% soy bean milk, from about 0.1 to about 20% emulsifier, and a preservative in an effective amount.
- 28. The method of claim 27, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-oxidant.
- 29. The method of claim 27, wherein said compositions further comprises an anti-cancer agent.
- 30. The method of claim 27, wherein said composition further comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of anti-oxidants, sunscreens, moisturizers, bleaching agents, depigmentation agents, darkening agents, surfactants, foaming agents, conditioners, humectants, fragrances, anti-aging agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-cancer agents.
- 31. The method of claim 18, wherein said composition further comprises from about 0.1 to about 20% soy bean powder or soy milk powder, from about 0.1 to about 20% emulsifier, and a preservative in an effective amount.
- 32. The method of claim 31, wherein said composition further comprisese an anti-oxidant.
- 33. The method of claim 31, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-cancer agent.
- 34. The method of claim 31, wherein said composition further comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of anti-oxidants, sunscreens, moisturizers, bleaching agents, depigmentation agents, darkening agents, surfactants, foaming agents, conditioners, humectants, fragrances, anti-aging agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-cancer agents.
- 35. A method of inhibiting the progression of a cutaneous tumor comprising topical application of at least one composition containing a non-denatured, soybean trypsin inhibitor in an amount of from about 0.01-99% by weight.
- 36. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition is applied at least once daily on a continuous basis.
- 37. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition is applied at least twice daily for at least eight weeks and at least once daily on a continuous basis thereafter.
- 38. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition comprises 0.1-10% by weight of said non denatured soybean trypsin inhibitor and is applied for at least about four to about ten weeks followed by topical application of a composition comprising a non-denatured soybean trypsin inhibitor at 0.01-10% by weight of said soybean trypsin inhibitor on a daily basis thereafter.
- 39. The method of claim 35, wherein said non-denatured soybean trypsin inhibitor is contained within liposomes suspended in a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
- 40. The method of claim 38, wherein said non-denatured soybean trypsin inhibitor is contained within in liposomes suspended in a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
- 41. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition further comprises a cosmetically acceptable vehicle.
- 42. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-inflammatory agent.
- 43. The method of claim 35 wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-cancer agent.
- 44. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition further comprises at least one anti-oxidant.
- 45. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition further comprises at least one sunscreen.
- 46. The method of claim 35, wherein said composition further comprises from about 0.01 to about 99% soy bean trypsin inhibitor, from about 0.1 to about 20% emulsifier, and a preservative in an effective amount.
- 47. The method of claim 46, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-oxidant.
- 48. The method of claim 46, wherein said composition further comprises an anti-cancer agent.
- 49. The method of claim 46, wherein said composition further comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of anti-oxidants, sunscreens, moisturizers, bleaching agents, depigmentation agents, darkening agents, surfactants, foaming agents, conditioners, humectants, fragrances, anti-aging agents, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-cancer agents.
