The present general inventive concept relates generally to a storage bag, and particularly, to a topless storage bag.
Hunting enthusiasts often have to carry a great deal of supplies with them. Yet, a weight of the supplies often becomes heavy over the course of an expedition. The strain of lugging the supplies tends to result in back pain and limits how much ground a hunter can cover. Also, carrying so many supplies makes the experience less pleasant, overall.
Typically, a conventional storage bag may have a single compartment to store items and is sealed with a top, which can make hunting inefficient when the hunter needs quick access to the supplies. Additionally, the conventional storage bag may be ill-equipped to handle heavy loads, exceeding 80 lbs, and is carried using shoulder straps.
Therefore, there is a need for a topless storage bag that holds heavy loads and is supported with multiple straps connected over different portions of a body of a user.
The present general inventive concept provides a topless storage bag.
Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.
The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a topless storage bag, including a main body to store at least one item therein, a removable divider removably connected to an interior of the main body to separate the interior into a first section and a second section, a waist strap assembly disposed on a bottom portion of the main body to connect around a waist of a user, a shoulder strap assembly disposed at a first end on at least a portion of a top portion of the main body and at a second end on at least a portion of the waist strap assembly to suspend the main body from shoulders of the user, and a chest strap assembly disposed on at least a portion of the shoulder strap assembly to connect around a chest of the user.
The main body may include a plurality of divider receiving grooves disposed on at least a portion of the interior of the main body to receive the removable divider therein, such that the removable divider is prevented from movement.
The waist strap assembly may include a first waist strap, a second waist strap longitudinally disposed a distance away from the first waist strap, a waist strap fastener disposed on an end of the first waist strap to connect the second waist strap to the first waist strap, a first padding disposed on at least a portion of the first waist strap to prevent injury to a first side of the user, and a second padding disposed on at least a portion of the second waist strap to prevent injury to a second side of the user.
The topless storage bag may further include at least one strap pocket disposed on at least a portion of the shoulder strap assembly to store at least one small item therein.
The topless storage bag may further include an air dispersion unit disposed within at least a portion of a base of the main body to move air from an exterior portion of the main body into the base in response to detecting a predetermined weight level within the main body, and to expel air from within the base to the exterior portion of the main body in response to detecting less than the predetermined weight level within the main body.

Unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which example embodiments belong. The topless storage bag 100 may be constructed from at least one of rubber, metal, and plastic, etc., but is not limited thereto. Moreover, the topless storage bag 100 may be durable to withstand damage from scratching and/or penetration by an external object and/or force. Also, the topless storage bag 100 may be lightweight, such that a user may not feel strain from a weight of the topless storage bag 100, prior to inserting items therein.
The topless storage bag 100 may include a main body 110, a removable divider 120, at least one auxiliary pocket 130, at least one open pocket 140, a waist strap assembly 150, a shoulder strap assembly 160, a chest strap assembly 170, a plurality of strap pockets 180, and an air dispersion unit 190, but is not limited thereto.

The main body 110 may include a base 111, an aperture 112, and a plurality of divider receiving grooves 113, but is not limited thereto.
The main body 110 may be constructed to have a length of eighteen inches, a width of twelve inches, and a height of twenty-three inches. However, the dimensions of the main body 110 may be constructed based on a preference of the user.
The main body 110 may store at least one item 10 therein. For example, the main body 110 may store bags of fertilizer, deer corn, seeds, and/or cameras.
Moreover, the main body 110 may be expandable to accommodate the at least one item 10. In other words, the main body 110 may at least partially deform in response to receiving the at least one item 10, such that the main body 110 may snugly fit the at least one item 10. Alternatively, the main body 110 may be rigid, such that the main body 110 may fit items of a predetermined size equivalent to a predetermined size of an interior of the main body 110.
The base 111 may be disposed on at least a portion of a first end of the main body 110. The base 111 may prevent the at least one item 10 from falling through the main body 110. Additionally, the base 111 may be constructed to support a weight of the at least one item 10, such as between eighty to one hundred pounds.
The aperture 112 may include a first section 112a and a second section 112b, but is not limited thereto.
The aperture 112 may be disposed on at least a portion of a second end of the main body 110. The aperture 112 may receive the at least one item 10 therethrough, such that the main body 110 may receive the at least one item 10 therein.

The removable divider 120 may be removably connected to each of the plurality of divider receiving grooves 113. More specifically, the removable divider 120 may be inserted within each of the plurality of divider receiving grooves 113 to separate the interior of the main body 110 into at least the first section 112a and the second section 112b, such that the first section 112a and the second section 112b may store items that do not contact each other. In other words, the removable divider 120 may prevent the items in the first section 112a from mixing with the items in the second section 112b.
Furthermore, the plurality of divider receiving grooves 113 may prevent the removable divider 120 from movement within the interior of the main body 110.
The at least one auxiliary pocket 130 may include a pocket fastener 131, but is not limited thereto.
The at least one auxiliary pocket 130 may be disposed on at least a portion of an outer surface of the main body 110. The at least one auxiliary pocket 130 may store at least one small item therein, such as animal food.

The pocket fastener 131 may be disposed on at least a portion of a side of the at least one auxiliary pocket 130. The pocket fastener 131 may at least partially open to allow access within the at least one auxiliary pocket 130 in a first position and close to prevent access within the at least one auxiliary pocket 130 in a second position.
The at least one open pocket 140 may include a pocket aperture 141, but is not limited thereto.
The at least one open pocket 140 may be disposed on at least a portion of the outer surface of the main body 110. The at least one open pocket 140 may store at least one cylindrical item therein, such as a water bottle and/or a can.
The pocket aperture 141 may be disposed on at least a portion of an end of the at least one open pocket 140. The pocket aperture 141 may receive the at least one cylindrical item therethrough, such that the pocket aperture 141 may receive the at least one cylindrical item therein.
The waist strap assembly 150 may include a first waist strap 151, a second waist strap 152, a first padding 153, a second padding 154, and a waist strap fastener 155, but is not limited thereto.
The first waist strap 151 and the second waist strap 152 may be disposed on a bottom portion of the main body 110. Additionally, the second waist strap 152 may be longitudinally disposed a distance away from the first waist strap 151, such that a waist of the user may fit between the first waist strap 151 and the second waist strap 152.
The first padding 153 may include a cushion, a memory foam, and/or a pillow, but is not limited thereto.
The second padding 154 may include a cushion, a memory foam, and/or a pillow, but is not limited thereto.
The first padding 153 may be disposed on at least a portion of the first waist strap 151. Similarly, the second padding 154 may be disposed on at least a portion of the second waist strap 152. The first padding 153 and/or the second padding 154 may prevent injury to a first side and/or a second side the user, respectively, by providing a soft surface against a waist (e.g., pelvis) of the user. As such, the first padding 153 and the second padding 154 may enhance comfort of the user in response to connecting the first waist strap 151 to the second waist strap 152.
The waist strap fastener 155 may include hooks and loops, a buckle, a twine, a string, a rope, a magnet, a clasp, a hook, a screw, a nail, a bolt, a nut, a washer, and/or any combination thereof, but is not limited thereto.
The waist strap fastener 155 may connect the second waist strap 152 to the first waist strap 151. As such, the waist strap fastener 155 may prevent the first waist strap 151 and the second waist strap 152 from falling off the waist of the user.
The shoulder strap assembly 160 may include a first shoulder strap 161, a second shoulder strap 162, a first shoulder strap fastener 163, and a second shoulder strap fastener 164, but is not limited thereto.
A first end of the first shoulder strap 161 and a first end of the second shoulder strap 162 may be disposed on a top portion of the main body 110. Additionally, the second shoulder strap 162 may be longitudinally disposed another distance away from the first shoulder strap 161, such that a torso of the user may fit between the first shoulder strap 161 and the second shoulder strap 162. Furthermore, a second end of the first shoulder strap 161 may be disposed on at least a portion of the first waist strap 151, and a second end of the second shoulder strap 162 may be disposed on at least a portion of the second waist strap 152.
As such, the first shoulder strap 161 may be disposed on a first shoulder of the user, and the second shoulder strap 162 may be disposed on a second shoulder of the user. As such, the first shoulder strap 161 and/or the second shoulder strap 162 may suspend the main body 110 in response to the first shoulder strap 161 and/or the second shoulder strap 162 being disposed on the first shoulder and/or the second shoulder of the user.

The first shoulder strap fastener 163 may adjust a length of the first shoulder strap 161, such as increasing the length by moving in a first direction, and decreasing the length by moving in a second direction.
Similarly, the second shoulder strap fastener 164 may adjust a length of the second shoulder strap 162, such as increasing the length by moving in the first direction, and decreasing the length by moving in the second direction.
As such, the shoulder strap assembly 160 may by adjusted based on the preference of the user.
The chest strap assembly 170 may include a first chest strap 171, a second chest strap 172, and a chest strap fastener 173, but is not limited thereto.
A first end of the first chest strap 171 and/or a first end of the second chest strap 172 may be disposed on at least a portion of the first shoulder strap 161 and the second shoulder strap 162, respectively. Moreover, the first chest strap 171 and/or the second chest strap 172 may be disposed a predetermined distance away from the waist strap assembly 150, such that the first chest strap 171 and/or the second chest strap 172 may cover a chest of the user.
The chest strap fastener 173 may include hooks and loops, a buckle, a twine, a string, a rope, a magnet, a clasp, a hook, a screw, a nail, a bolt, a nut, a washer, and/or any combination thereof, but is not limited thereto.
The chest strap fastener 173 may connect the second chest strap 172 to the first chest strap 171. As such, the chest strap fastener 173 may prevent the first chest strap 171 and the second chest strap 172 from falling off the chest of the user.
The plurality of strap pockets 180 may be disposed on at least a portion of the first shoulder strap 161 and/or the second shoulder strap 162. Each of the plurality of strap pockets 180 may store another at least one small item therein, such as a secure digital (SD) card for the cameras. The position of the plurality of strap pockets 180 is important because, the user may need to quickly access the another at least one small item during hunting, which would not be feasible from within the main body 110, the at least one auxiliary pocket 130, and/or the at least one open pocket 140.
Although, the plurality of strap pockets 180 are referred to as a plurality, the plurality of strap pockets 180 may be a singular strap pocket 180.
The air dispersion unit 190 may include a sensor, a vacuum, and a power source, but is not limited thereto.
The power source may include a battery and/or a solar cell, but is not limited thereto. As such, the power source may send power to the sensor and/or the vacuum.
The air dispersion unit 190 may be disposed within at least a portion of the base 111. The vacuum may move air from an exterior portion of the main body 110 to within the base 111 in response to the sensor detecting a predetermined weight level. For example, the vacuum may move air from the exterior portion of the main body 110 into the base 111 in response to the sensor detecting at least eighty pounds being inserted within the interior of the main body 110. As such, the air dispersion unit 190 may increase a rigidity of the base 111, such that the base 111 may be prevented from deforming due to additional weight within the main body 110. Alternatively, the vacuum may expel air from within the base 111 in response to the sensor detecting less than eighty pounds within the interior of the main body 110.
Therefore, the topless storage bag 100 may store heavy items therein, and allow the user to move in an outdoor environment with free hands. Also, the user may quickly access the heavy items within the main body 110. Moreover, the waist strap assembly 150 and/or the chest strap assembly 170 may prevent movement of the main body 110 due to additional connections around the body of the user that would not be prevented by the shoulder strap assembly 160 only.
The present general inventive concept may include a topless storage bag 100, including a main body 110 to store at least one item 10 therein, a removable divider 120 removably connected to an interior of the main body 110 to separate the interior into a first section 112a and a second section 112b, a waist strap assembly 150 disposed on a bottom portion of the main body 110 to connect around a waist of a user, a shoulder strap assembly 160 disposed at a first end on at least a portion of a top portion of the main body 110 and at a second end on at least a portion of the waist strap assembly 150 to suspend the main body 110 from shoulders of the user, and a chest strap assembly 170 disposed on at least a portion of the shoulder strap assembly 160 to connect around a chest of the user.
The main body 110 may include a plurality of divider receiving grooves 113 disposed on at least a portion of the interior of the main body 110 to receive the removable divider 120 therein, such that the removable divider 120 is prevented from movement.
The waist strap assembly 150 may include a first waist strap 151, a second waist strap 152 longitudinally disposed a distance away from the first waist strap 151, a waist strap fastener 155 disposed on an end of the first waist strap 151 to connect the second waist strap 152 to the first waist strap 151, a first padding 153 disposed on at least a portion of the first waist strap 151 to prevent injury to a first side of the user, and a second padding 154 disposed on at least a portion of the second waist strap 152 to prevent injury to a second side of the user.
The topless storage bag 100 may further include at least one strap pocket 180 disposed on at least a portion of the shoulder strap assembly 160 to store at least one small item therein.
The topless storage bag 100 may further include an air dispersion unit 190 disposed within at least a portion of a base 111 of the main body 110 to move air from an exterior portion of the main body 110 into the base 111 in response to detecting a predetermined weight level within the main body 110, and to expel air from within the base 111 to the exterior portion of the main body 110 in response to detecting less than the predetermined weight level within the main body 110.
Although a few embodiments of the present general inventive concept have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the general inventive concept, the scope of which is defined in the appended claims and their equivalents.
