Abstract
A toy brick component has a top end, a bottom end, multiple side faces, an assembling portion having multiple top connecting units and disposed at the top end, a cooperating portion disposed at the bottom end, and multiple attaching portions having multiple side connecting units and disposed at the multiple side faces. The top connecting units and the side connecting units are detachably connected to the multiple cooperating recesses of the cooperating portion of another toy brick component. The toy brick component not only can be connected by the assembling portion and the cooperating portion, but also can be connected by the multiple attaching portions disposed at the side faces of the toy brick component. By providing variety of connecting ways, increasing the connecting diversity of the toy brick component, a user can build diverse finished works, thereby stimulating creativity and imagination of the user.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a toy brick component, especially to a toy brick component that can be cooperated with and connected to toy brick plates.


2. Description of Related Art

Traditional toy bricks are provided in different shapes. By piling and assembling bricks to form specific three-dimensional shapes, the creativity and the imagination of a user are stimulated. However, the traditional toy bricks are built only by piling, thus the weight distributions and the assembling structural relationship between the bricks must be considered while piling and assembling the bricks. So upside-down suspending structures or designs in special shapes are hard to be formed, further limiting the creativity and the imagination of the user.


Therefore, conventional toy bricks have brick units in different shapes with connecting protrusions formed on their top ends and connecting recesses formed on their bottom ends. The connecting recess of the brick unit can be attached to the connecting protrusion of another brick unit. By matching and attaching the connecting protrusions to the connecting recesses between different brick units, the limitation of the weight distributions and the connecting structural relationship between the bricks are overcome, expanding room for the user to explore creativity and imagination.


However, the brick units of the conventional toy bricks only have connecting structures formed on their top ends and bottom ends. It leads to that the user can only connect the brick units vertically, but horizontally assembling is unlikely to be made. Hence, it is hard for the user of the conventional toy bricks to explore creativity and imagination to the user's best, so the conventional toy bricks still need to be improved.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the invention is to provide a toy brick component to resolve the drawback that conventional toy brick products can only be connected vertically but not horizontally, leading to the difficulty for a user of the conventional toy brick products to explore creativity and imagination to the user's best.


The toy brick component has an assembling portion, a cooperating portion and multiple attaching portions. The assembling portion is disposed at a top end of the toy brick component, and has multiple top connecting units protruding out and arranged in order. The cooperating portion is disposed at a bottom end of the toy brick component, and has multiple cooperating recesses. The multiple attaching portions are disposed at multiple side faces of the toy brick component, and each of the multiple attaching portions has multiple side connecting units protruding out and arranged in order. The multiple top connecting units of the assembling portion and the multiple side connecting units of the multiple attaching portions of the toy brick component are configured to be detachably connected to the multiple cooperating recesses of the cooperating portion of another toy brick component.


The toy brick component can be connected to another toy brick component or cooperated with and connected to toy brick plates having multiple assembling protrusions and multiple assembling recessed portions. The toy brick component not only can be connected by the assembling portion disposed at the top end and the cooperating portion disposed at the bottom end, but also can be connected by the multiple attaching portions disposed at the multiple side faces of the toy brick component. By providing variety of connecting ways, the connecting diversity of the toy brick component is increased, so that a user can build and make diverse finished works, thereby stimulating creativity and imagination of the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 9, multiple embodiments of a toy brick component 10a to 10c related to the present invention are shown. The toy brick component 10a to 10c has an assembling portion 11, a cooperating portion 12 and multiple attaching portions 13. The assembling portion 11 is disposed at a top end of the toy brick component 10a to 10c, and has multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b protruding out and arranged in order. The cooperating portion 12 is disposed at a bottom end of the toy brick component 10a to 10c, and has multiple cooperating recesses 14. The multiple attaching portions 13 are respectively disposed at multiple side faces of the toy brick component 10a to 10c, and each of the multiple attaching portions 13 has multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b protruding out and arranged in order.


The orderly arrangements of the multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b of the assembling portion 11 and the multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b of the multiple attaching portions 13 at least mean that the multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b and the multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b are respectively arranged in a line, arranged in a rectangle/matrix, and arranged in two lines vertically connected to each other.


The multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b of the assembling portion 11 and the multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b of the multiple attaching portions 13 of the toy brick component 10a to 10c are configured to be detachably connected to the multiple cooperating recesses 14 of the cooperating portion 12 of another toy brick component 10a to 10c.


Additionally, end surfaces of the toy brick component 10a to 10c can be L-shaped or polygonal, etc., cooperating with different setting lengths between the end surfaces, thereby allowing the toy brick component 10a to 10c to have various configurations. For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, in first and second embodiments of the present invention, the end surfaces of the toy brick component 10a are L-shaped, and the toy brick component 10a is presented as a short chunk. Or, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, in third and fourth embodiments of the present invention, the end surfaces of the toy brick component 10b are L-shaped, and the toy brick component 10b is presented as an elongated configuration. Or, as shown in FIGS. 7 to 9, in fifth and sixth embodiments of the present invention, the end surfaces of the toy brick component 10c are quadrilateral, and the toy brick component 10c is presented as an elongated configuration.


With reference to FIGS. 4 to 6, in the third and the fourth embodiments of the present invention, the toy brick component 10b further comprises a top panel 17 and two side panels 18. The top panel 17 and the two side panels 18 are connected to each other. The assembling portion 11 is disposed at the top panel 17, and the multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b are disposed in the top panel 17. The multiple attaching portions 13 are respectively disposed at the two side panels 18, and the multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b are disposed in the two side panels 18. A hollow portion is formed between the assembling portion 11, the cooperating portion 12, and the multiple attaching portions 13, allowing more space in the toy brick component 10b, reducing weight of the toy brick component 10b, and providing a different configuration of the toy brick component 10b for building.


Besides, in the fifth and the sixth embodiments of the present invention, each of the multiple side faces of the toy brick component 10c is formed with a respective one of the multiple attaching portions 13.


Furthermore, the multiple top connecting units 15a, 15b of the assembling portion 11 and the multiple side connecting units 16a, 16b of the multiple attaching portions 13 of the toy brick component 10a to 10c can have different configurations. As shown in FIGS. 1, 4 and 7, in the first, the third and the fifth embodiments of the present invention, each of the multiple top connecting units 15a is hollow and cylindrical, and each of the multiple side connecting units 16a is hollow and cylindrical. As shown in FIGS. 2, 5 and 8, in the second, the fourth and the sixth embodiments of the present invention, each of the multiple top connecting units 15b is solid and cylindrical, and each of the multiple side connecting units 16b is solid and cylindrical.


While a user builds the toy brick component 10a to 10c, as shown in FIG. 10, taking the first embodiment of the toy brick component 10a of the present invention as an example, a user can connect the multiple top connecting units 15a of the assembling portion 11 or the multiple side connecting units 16a of the attaching portions 13 of the toy brick component 10a to the multiple cooperating recesses 14 of the cooperating portion 12 of another toy brick component 10a. As shown in FIGS. 11 to 13, taking the third embodiment of the toy brick component 10b of the present invention as an example, the user can use a conventional toy brick plate 20 to cooperate with the toy brick component 10b. As shown in FIG. 11, the user can connect the multiple cooperating recesses 14 of the cooperating portion 12 of the toy brick component 10b to the multiple assembling protrusions 21 of the toy brick plate 20. Or, as shown in FIG. 12, the user can connect the multiple top connecting units 15a of the assembling portion 11, disposed at the top end of the toy brick component 10b, to multiple assembling recessed portions 22 of the toy brick plate 20. Or, as shown in FIG. 13, the user can connect the multiple side connecting units 16a of one of the multiple attaching portions 13, disposed at the side faces of the toy brick component 10b, to the multiple assembling recessed portions 22 of the toy brick plate 20.


By the above mentioned connecting ways, the user can build various different finished works. For example, with reference to FIGS. 14 and 15, the user can use multiple said toy brick components 10b cooperating with multiple said toy brick plates 20 to build a tissue box 30 by fixing the toy brick plates 20 through the toy brick components 10b. The user can put a pack of tissue 31 in a room formed and surrounded by the toy brick plates 20.


Besides, as shown in FIG. 16, the user can stack multiple said toy brick components 10a cooperating multiple said toy brick plates 20 to build a pot 40 with an opening on its top by fixing the toy brick plates 20 through the toy brick components 10a. The user can fill the pot 40 with soil 41 and grow a plant 42.


With reference to FIGS. 17 and 18, the user can stack multiple said toy brick components 10a, 10b and 10c cooperating multiple said toy brick plates 20 to build a pen holder 50 with an opening on its top by fixing the toy brick plates 20 through the toy brick components 10a. The user can put stationaries 51 in the pen holder 50. Also, the user can build the pen holder 50 through fixing the toy brick plates 20 by the toy brick components 10b.


With reference to FIG. 19, the user can use multiple said toy brick components 10b cooperating multiple said toy brick plates 20 to build a display rack 60 with a forward opening by fixing the toy brick plates 20 through the toy brick components 10b. The user can place displayed things 61 in the display rack 60.


To sum up, the toy brick component 10a to 10c not only can be connected by the assembling portion 11 disposed at the top end and the cooperating portion 12 disposed at the bottom end, but also can be connected by the multiple attaching portions 13 disposed at the multiple side faces of the toy brick component 10a to 10c. By providing variety of connecting ways, the connecting diversity of the toy brick component 10a to 10c is increased, so a user can build and make diverse finished works, thereby stimulating creativity and imagination of the user.

Changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the board general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.

  • 1. A toy brick component comprising: an assembling portion disposed at a top end of the toy brick component, and having multiple top connecting units protruding out and arranged in order;a cooperating portion disposed at a bottom end of the toy brick component, and having multiple cooperating recesses;multiple attaching portions disposed at multiple side faces of the toy brick component, and each of the multiple attaching portions having multiple side connecting units protruding out and arranged in order;wherein the multiple top connecting units of the assembling portion and the multiple side connecting units of the multiple attaching portions of the toy brick component are configured to be detachably connected to the multiple cooperating recesses of the cooperating portion of another toy brick component.
  • 2. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 1, wherein the toy brick component has two end surfaces being L-shaped.
  • 3. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 1, wherein the toy brick component has two end surfaces being polygonal.
  • 4. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 3, wherein each of the multiple side faces of the toy brick component is formed with a respective one of the multiple attaching portions.
  • 5. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is hollow and cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is hollow and cylindrical.
  • 6. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is hollow and cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is hollow and cylindrical.
  • 7. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 3, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is hollow and cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is hollow and cylindrical.
  • 8. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 4, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is hollow and cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is hollow and cylindrical.
  • 9. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is cylindrical.
  • 10. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is cylindrical.
  • 11. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 3, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is cylindrical.
  • 12. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 4, wherein each of the multiple top connecting units is cylindrical and each of the multiple side connecting units is cylindrical.

The toy brick component as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other; the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.
  • 14. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other; the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.
  • 15. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 5 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other; the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.
  • 16. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 6 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other; the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.
  • 17. The toy brick component as claimed in claim 9 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other; the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.

The toy brick component as claimed in claim 10 further comprising a top panel and two side panels; wherein the top panel and the two side panels are connected to each other, the assembling portion is disposed at the top panel and the multiple attaching portions are respectively disposed at the two side panels.
