DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a toy 100 which serves as a toy for figure play designed in an imagination of a castle floating in the sky. At a base part, a pond part 10 imitating a pond is formed on an inner side of a shape of an annular cloud. A lower surface of the pond part 10 is provided with a plurality of installation legs 110. By means of the installation legs 110, the toy 100 appears to float about 10 mm above an installation surface when installed. Note that, in the following description, a front side of the toy 100 is referred to as the front, an opposite side thereto is referred to as the rear, the pond part 10 side is referred to as the lower, an opposite side thereto is referred to as the upper, and when viewing the toy 100 from the front, a left side is referred to as the left, and a right side is referred to as the right.

A castle part 20 is provided above the pond part 10. The castle part 20 is designed in an imagination of a castle floating in clouds. The castle part 20 is provided with two elongated waterfall portions 21, which are long in the vertical direction and designed in an imagination of waterfalls flowing from the castle part 20 to the pond part 10. Note that on a rear side of the pond part 10, a tree portion 111 is provided which is erected in a substantially plate-like shape and designed in an imagination of a tree. The castle part 20 is supported by the waterfall portions 21 and the tree portion 111. The castle part 20 is provided with a cloud-like support base part 120.

A swing ride part 40 is provided from the support base part 120 via an arcuate support part 30 supporting the swing ride part 40. The swing ride part 40 is provided with a rotating body 42 rotatably connected to a rotation shaft 43 imitating a sunflower. The rotating body 42 is provided with three swings 41 suspended from the rotating body 42. In addition, the pond part 10 is provided with a rotating amusement part 70 designed to resemble a rotating playground equipment. A boat part 80 imitating a boat is provided on a front side of the rotating amusement part 70. Additionally, on a right side of the castle part 20, an elevator 90 is provided with a string 92 connected via a forked branch portion 91. The elevator 90 includes a figure accommodation part 93 imitating a shape of a flower, allowing for placement of a figure for play.

The rotating amusement part 70 will be described in detail below. The rotating amusement part 70 is a rotating seesaw toy. When the rotating amusement part rotates with a figure placed in a figure accommodation part 71a of a seesaw member 71 (see FIG. 3) imitating a shape of a flower, the seesaw member 71 rotates while moving up and down.

In the rotating amusement part 70, a bulging part 15 (see FIG. 3) is formed which rises in a mountain shape and bulges from the pond part 10 (base member). As shown in FIG. 2A, the bulging part 15 includes an annular cam 72 formed at a peripheral edge of an opening portion 15a where a mountain-like top portion is opened. The annular cam 72 is formed at an opening edge of the mountain-like top portion. A boundary of the annular cam 72 is not clear, but for the sake of understanding, an outer boundary (in FIGS. 3 and 4, inner and outer boundaries) is indicated by a two-dot chain line. The annular cam 72 has a wave shape, as shown in a development view of FIG. 2B.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a rotation shaft 73 is rotatably installed on an inner side of the opening portion 15a. In other words, an axis CL1 of the rotation shaft 73 is arranged on the inner side of the annular cam 72. The rotation shaft 73 is rotatably inserted into a circular concave shaft support part 15b provided within the opening portion 15a of the bulging part 15 (see FIG. 2A).

The rotation shaft 73 is provided with two opposing seesaw members 71. The seesaw member 71 has a connecting rod 71b formed in an elongated shape. The connecting rod 71b is rotatably connected to the rotation shaft 73. The connecting rod 71b is provided to the rotation shaft 73 so as to be rotatable around an axis CL2 perpendicular to the axis CL1 of the rotation shaft 73. As shown in FIG. 5, the connecting rod 71b has two opposing side plates 71b 1 and an L-shaped L-plate 71b 2, in a cross-sectional view, provided between the side plates 71b1. At an end portion of the connecting rod 71b, a shaft 71b3 is provided across the side plates 71b1.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a shaft support part 73a is provided to protrude from the rotation shaft 73 in a direction perpendicular to the axis CL1. The shaft support part 73a is provided in two, facing each other. Although not shown, the shaft support part 73a has a protruding end portion formed in a substantially U-like shape. The shaft 71b3 of the connecting rod 71b is rotatably fitted into the substantially U-shaped portion of the shaft support part 73a. In this way, the seesaw member 71 is provided to the rotation shaft 73 so as to be rotatable around the axis CL2 of the shaft 71b3.

A lower surface of the connecting rod 71b, that is, a lower surface of the side plate 71b1, is formed as a cam follower part 71c in contact with the annular cam 72. Since the seesaw member 71 always generates a force that causes it to rotate downward around the axis CL2 due to the weight of the figure accommodation part 71a, the cam follower part 71c is always in contact with the annular cam 72. Therefore, the rotation of the rotation shaft 73 causes the cam follower part 71c to move along the wave-shaped annular cam 72. Accordingly, when the rotation shaft 73 rotates, the connecting rod 71b rotates around the center CL1, while moving up and down by repeating rotating around the center CL2 in a forward and reverse manner. The seesaw member 71 moves in a regular manner because it operates along the shape of the annular cam 72.

At an upper end of the rotation shaft 73, an umbrella part 74 is provided. The umbrella part 74 is formed to have a relatively large diameter sized to overlap at least a part of the figure accommodation part 71a of the seesaw member 71 when viewed from the vertical direction. The figure accommodation part 71a is fixed to an outer end of the connecting rod 71b and is formed in a shape of a bowl imitating a shape of a slightly open flower.

The rotating amusement part 70 is formed imitating a fountain. That is, the rotating amusement part presents an aspect where the rotation shaft 73, acting as a water column, is emitted from the bulging part 15 rising from the pond part 10, and water spreads out on the umbrella part 74. It also presents an aspect where, below the umbrella part 74, the figure accommodation part 71a imitating a flower floats on the pond part 10. When a figure is placed in the figure accommodation part 71a and the umbrella part 74 is turned by hand, the figure accommodation part 71a with the figure placed therein can rotate around the axis CL1 while moving up and down.

For example, when the cam follower part 71c of the connecting rod 71b is positioned on a valley portion 72a of the mountain in the wave-shaped annular cam 72 of FIG. 2B, the seesaw member 71 assumes a state shown in FIG. 3. When the cam follower part 71c of the connecting rod 71b is positioned on a peak portion 72b of the mountain in the wave-shaped annular cam 72 of FIG. 2B, the seesaw member 71 assumes a state shown in FIG. 4.

According to the above-described embodiment of the present disclosure, a toy for figure play of the following aspects can be provided.

A toy for figure play according to a first aspect includes: a base member including an annular cam; a rotation shaft erected on the base member such that a first axis of the rotation shaft is positioned on an inner side of the annular cam; and a seesaw member provided on the rotation shaft so as to be rotatable around a second axis perpendicular to the first axis of the rotation shaft, the seesaw member including: a cam follower part configured to be in sliding contact with the annular cam; and a figure accommodation part configured to accommodate a figure.

With this configuration, the figure accommodation part capable of accommodating a figure can perform a regular operation, such as moving up and down along a shape of the annular cam while rotating the figure accommodation part around the rotation shaft. Therefore, according to the configuration, it is possible to provide a toy for figure play including a rotating toy that can move regularly with a figure accommodated.

In the toy for figure play according to a second aspect, the rotation shaft is provided with an umbrella part.

With this configuration, the rotation shaft can be rotated by turning the umbrella part by hand, allowing for easy rotation of the rotation shaft. Along with this, it is possible to reduce the likelihood of a figure falling out of the figure accommodation part when the rotation shaft is rotated vigorously.

Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments and can be variously changed without departing from the scope of the present disclosure.
