Abstract
A toy gun with a built-in hand tool includes a gun housing, a cover housing and a hand tool. The gun housing has a gun handle. The gun handle has a locking portion and a receiving slot formed thereon. The cover housing is configured to cover onto the gun handle correspondingly and covers the receiving slot. The cover housing has an attachment portion. The attachment portion is locked onto the locking portion correspondingly. The hand tool is connected to the cover housing and concealed inside the receiving slot. Therefore, with such structure, the toy gun includes the hand tool built therein in order to facilitate the detachment, assembly or piercing of the air bottle by the user such that the convenience of use of the toy gun is increased.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention


The present invention is related to a toy gun, in particular, to a toy gun with a built-in hand tool.


2. Description of Related Art


Due to the busy work schedules and working stresses, a lot of people find recreation activities as great getaways and relieves from daily stresses; also, more and more people choose to pursuit in new and exciting recreational sports; among these sports, shooting practice is one of the most popular sports, which involves the use of toy guns of such as BB gun, paint gun and air gun as crucial gear for the sport.


However, conventional toy guns, as mentioned above, are often only equipped with one hand tool as an auxiliary tool only for such as disassembly, assembly and piercing of air bottles, and such hand tool may be a flathead screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver, a hexagon screwdriver for toy guns; such hand tool of flathead screwdriver, Philips screwdriver and hexagon screwdriver can be used for fastening or releasing screws or for pushing air bottles toward the air valve to pierce through the air bottles such that the pierced air bottles can provide the driving force for the shooting of the toy guns.


Nevertheless, since not every user is of the good habit of placing and storing the hand tool for the toy gun at proper places all the time after his or her use, the occasion of losing the hand tool due to such as misplacing of the tool or forgetting the previous location of the tool may happen, which can be quite inconvenient and troublesome to the user in addition to that he or she may even need to purchase a new hand tool for the toy gun as the tool may be found to be lost after some time-consuming searches.


In view of the above, the inventor seeks to provide a novel solution to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks associated with the known arts along with years of experience and application of theoretical principles in the field.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the present invention is to provide a toy gun with a built-in hand tool capable of facilitating the storage of a hand tool for the toy gun and allowing convenient disassembly, assembly or piercing of the air bottle by the user in order to increase the convenience of the use of the toy gun.


To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides a toy gun with a built-in hand tool, comprising:

    • a gun housing having a gun handle; the gun handle having a locking portion and a receiving slot;
    • a cover housing configured to cover onto the gun handle correspondingly and covering the receiving slot; the cover housing having an attachment portion; the attachment portion configured to lock onto the locking portion correspondingly; and
    • a hand tool connected to the cover housing and concealed inside the receiving slot.


The present invention also has the following merits and technical effects:


First, the toy gun further includes an air bottle and a rotational shaft; the hand tool is able to drive the rotational shaft to rotate in order to allow the rotational shaft to push against the air bottle such that the air bottle can be pushed toward the air valve and pierced thereby; therefore, the convenience of the use of the toy gun is increased.


Second, the hand tool can be used for fastening or releasing the fastening members on the toy gun in order to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the toy gun; therefore, the convenience of the use of the toy gun is increased.


Third, the hand tool is connected to the cover housing and stored inside the receiving slot such that the hand tool is stored inside the toy gun in order to prevent misplacement and accidental loss of the hand tool in addition to that when there is a need for the hand tool for auxiliary uses on the toy gun, the hand tool is readily available and can be retrieved from the toy gun immediately.


Fourth, the present invention is able to achieve the effect having he cover housing covered onto the gun handle correspondingly by using simple cooperation among components thereof such that the toy gun is of the merits of simplified assembly and low cost.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The following provides detailed description of embodiments of the present invention along with the accompanied drawings. It can, however, be understood that the accompanied drawings are provided for illustrative purposes only and shall not be treated as limitations to the present invention.


Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 6. The present invention provides a toy gun with a built-in hand tool; the toy gun 10 mainly comprises a gun housing 1, a cover housing 2 and a hand tool 3.


As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 2, the toy gun 10 can be a BB gun, a paint gun or an air gun, and the present invention is not limited such types only. The gun housing 1 includes a gun handle 11; the gun handle 11 includes a locking portion 111 and a receiving slot 113 formed thereon.


The following provides further details. The gun handle 11 includes a side wall 12 on one side thereof and a bottom wall 13 formed at a bottom portion thereof. The side wall 12 includes an air bottle slot 121. The locking portion 111 and the receiving slot 113 are formed on the side wall 12. The bottom wall 13 includes an opening slot 131 connected to the air bottle slot 121, and the opening slot 131 includes an inner threaded portion 132 formed at an inner circumferential edge thereof


Furthermore, the gun handle 11 includes an inner wall 14 formed inside the air bottle slot 121. The locking portion 111 is formed by two protrusions 141 extended from two opposite sides of the inner wall 14. In addition, the side wall 12 includes a locking slot 122 and a plurality of positioning holes 123 formed thereon.


As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 2, cover housing 2 is configured to cover onto the gun housing 11 correspondingly and covering the receiving slot 113. The cover housing 2 includes an attachment portion 21, and the attachment portion 21 is locked onto the locking portion 111 correspondingly; wherein the cover housing 2 covers onto the side wall 12 correspondingly.


The following provides further details. The attachment portion 21 is formed by a U-shaped elastic sheet 23 fixed onto the cover housing 2. The U-shaped elastic sheet 23 includes two hooks 231 at two ends thereof; the two hooks 231 and the two protrusions 141 are locked onto each other; wherein the two hooks 231 are formed by two U-shaped bending sections 232 bent upward from the U-shaped elastic sheet 23 and having openings opposite from each other.


Furthermore, the cover housing 2 includes a locking member 24 and a plurality of positioning columns 25. The locking member 24 and the locking slot 122 are locked onto each other; each one of the positioning columns 25 are inserted into each one of the positioning holes 123.


As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5 to FIG. 6, the hand tool 3 can be a flathead screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver or a hexagon screwdriver; however, the present invention is not limited to such types only. The hand tool 3 is connected to the cover housing 2 and concealed inside the receiving slot 113; the hand tool 3 includes a screwdriver head 31.


In addition, the hand tool 3 is detachably attached to the cover housing 2; alternatively, the hand tool 3 can be fixed firmly to the cover housing 2. In other words, the attachment method can be modified according to actual needs, and the present invention is not limited to such types of attachment only.


As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 3, the toy gun 10 of the present invention further comprises an air bottle 4 and a rotational shaft 5. The air bottle 4 is detachably received inside the air bottle slot 121. The rotational shaft 5 is fastened to the opening slot 131 and configured corresponding to the bottom portion of the air bottle 4.


The following provides further details. The rotational shaft 5 includes an outer threaded portion 51 at an outer circumferential surface thereof. One end of the rotational shaft 5 has a pushing portion 52 and another end of the rotational shaft 5 has an engagement portion 53. The outer threaded portion 51 and the inner threaded portion 132 are fastened to each other. The pushing portion 52 is configured corresponding to the bottom portion of the air bottle 4. The engagement portion 53 is provided for the screwdriver head 31 to engage therewith and to rotate together with the screwdriver head 31.


As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 2, according to an assembly of the toy gun 10 of the present invention, it utilizes the gun housing 1 with the gun handle 11, and the gun handle 11 includes the locking portion 111 and the receiving slot 113 formed thereon. The cover housing 2 is configured to cover onto the gun handle 11 correspondingly and covering the receiving slot 113; the cover housing 2 includes the attachment portion 21, and the attachment portion 21 is locked onto the locking portion 111 correspondingly. The hand tool 3 is connected to the housing 2 and concealed inside the receiving slot 113. With such structure, the toy gun 10 is able to accommodate the hand tool 3 built therein in order to facilitate the detachment, assembly or piercing of the air bottle 4 by the user and such that the convenience of the use of the toy gun 10 is increased.


As shown in FIG. 3, according to a state of use of the toy gun 10 of the present invention, it utilizes the gun housing 2 to allow the gun handle 11 to be retrieved therefrom, following which the screwdriver head 31 is engaged with the engagement portion 53 and the screwdriver head 31 is rotated to drive the engagement portion 53 to rotate altogether in order to allow the rotational shaft 5 to move relative to the opening slot 131 and to push against the air bottle 4 such that the air bottle 4 is pushed toward the air valve and to allow the air valve to pierce the air bottle. Once the air bottle 4 is pierced, the driving force for the shooting of the toy gun 10 can be provided; therefore, the convenience of use of the toy gun 10 can be increased.


In addition, the screwdriver head 31 can also be used for fastening or releasing the fastening members (not shown in the figures) on the toy gun 10 in order to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the toy gun 10; therefore, the convenience of use of the toy gun 10 can be increased.


Furthermore, the hand tool 3 is connected to the housing 2 an concealed inside the receiving slot 113 such that the hand tool 3 is stored inside the toy gun 10 in order to prevent any misplacement or accidental loss of the hand tool 3. Also, the hand tool 3 can be retrieved from the toy gun 10 immediately for any auxiliary uses of the hand tool 3 on the toy gun 10 readily.


Moreover, as shown in FIG. 4, the attachment portion 21 is formed by the U-shaped elastic sheet 23 fixed onto the cover housing 2, and the U-shaped elastic sheet 23 includes two hooks 231 at two ends thereof. The gun handle 11 includes the inner wall 14 formed inside the air bottle slot 121. The locking portion 111 is formed by two protrusions 141 extended from two opposite sides of the inner wall 14, and the two hooks 231 and the two protrusions 141 are locked onto each other. With such structure, the toy gun 10 of the present invention is able to achieve the covering of the cover housing 2 onto the gun handle 11 correspondingly with a simple structural cooperation of the components thereof; therefore, the toy gun 10 is of the merits of simplified assembly and low cost.


In addition, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5 to FIG. 6, the hand tool 3 can be a screwdriver tool of such as a flathead screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver and a hexagon screwdriver. Also, the engagement portion 53 is configured corresponding to the shape of the screwdriver head 31 to include a flathead-shaped slot, a Philips-shaped slot or a hexagon-shaped slot in order to allow the engagement portion 53 to engage with the screwdriver head 31 and to rotate together with the screwdriver head 31.


In view of the above, the present invention of a toy gun with a built-in hand tool can indeed achieve the objectives as expected while overcoming the drawbacks of the known art, which is certainly of novelty and inventive step as well as complying with the requirement of patentability. The present invention is, therefore, legitimately applied for the grant of a patent.

  • 1. A toy gun with a built-in hand tool, comprising: a gun housing having a gun handle; the gun handle having a locking portion and a receiving slot;a cover housing configured to cover onto the gun handle correspondingly and covering the receiving slot; the cover housing having an attachment portion; the attachment portion being configured to lock onto the locking portion correspondingly; anda hand tool connected to the cover housing and concealed inside the receiving slot.
  • 2. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 1, further comprising an air bottle, wherein the gun handle includes a side wall on one side thereof; the side wall includes an air bottle slot formed thereon; the air bottle is received inside the air bottle slot; the locking portion and the receiving slot are formed on the side wall; the cover housing is covered onto the side wall correspondingly.
  • 3. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, further comprising a rotational shaft, wherein the gun handle includes a bottom wall at a bottom portion thereof; the bottom wall includes an opening slot connected to the air bottle slot; the rotational shaft is fastened to the opening slot and configured corresponding to the bottom portion of the air bottle.

The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 3, wherein the opening slot includes an inner threaded portion at an inner circumferential surface thereof; the hand tool includes a screwdriver head; the rotational shaft includes an outer threaded portion at an outer circumferential surface thereof, one end of the rational shaft has a pushing portion and another end of the rational shaft has an engagement portion; the outer threaded portion and the inner threaded portion are fastened to each other; the pushing portion is configured corresponding to the bottom portion of the air bottle; the engagement portion is provided for the screwdriver to engage therewith and to rotate together with the screwdriver.
  • 5. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, wherein the attachment portion is formed by a U-shaped elastic sheet fixed onto the cover housing; the U-shaped elastic sheet includes two hooks at two ends thereof; the gun handle includes an inner wall formed inside the air bottle slot; the locking portion is formed by two protrusions extended at two opposite sides of the inner wall; the two hooks are locked onto the two protrusions with each other.
  • 6. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 5, wherein the two hooks are formed by U-shaped bending sections bent upward from the U-shaped elastic sheet and having openings opposite from each other.
  • 7. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, wherein the cover housing includes a locking member extended therefrom; the side wall includes a locking slot formed thereon; the locking member and the locking slot are locked onto each other.
  • 8. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, wherein the cover housing includes a plurality of positioning columns extended therefrom; the side wall includes a plurality of positioning holes; the plurality of positioning columns are inserted into the plurality of positioning holes.
  • 9. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, wherein the hand tool is detachably attached to the cover housing.
  • 10. The toy gun with a built-in hand tool according to claim 2, wherein the hand tool is a flathead screwdriver, a Philips screwdriver or a hexagon screwdriver.
