Claims
- 1. For transaction processing involving transaction information related to services provided by one of a plurality of vendors and processed by one of a plurality of service providers, a transaction validation system for auditing comprising:a central processor arrangement programmed and configured to compare an authorized profile list criterion, that includes information about authorized users empowered to authorize payment by the vendor, to a request for payment from said one of the plurality of vendors to said one of the plurality of service providers; and the central processor arrangement also programmed and configured to maintain a credit authorization level for at least one of: an authorized profile in the authorized profile list criterion, and said one of the plurality of vendors.
- 2. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein said system further include means for generating a quotation coupled to said central processor arrangement.
- 3. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement is further programmed and configured to decrease the credit authorization level in response to payment to said one of the plurality of vendors.
- 4. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement includes first and second processing modules, the first and second processing modules being communicatively coupled and adapted to pass aspects of the transaction information from one of the first and second processing modules to the other of the first and second processing modules.
- 5. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement includes first and second processing modules, the first and second processing modules being adapted to access the authorized profile list criterion.
- 6. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein said one of the plurality of service providers provides carrier services.
- 7. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein said one of the plurality of service providers provides carrier services for a fee paid by the vendor, and wherein the central processor arrangement further programmed and configured to calculate the fee based partly on the transaction information.
- 8. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement includes first and second processing modules, one of the first and second processing modules being programmed and configured to compare the authorized profile list criterion and the other of the first and second processing modules being programmed and configured to maintain the credit authorization level.
- 9. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement includes at least a first processing module being programmed and configured to generate an identification code, in response to the comparison, for tracking and recalling the transaction information.
- 10. A transaction validation system according to claim 1, wherein the central processor arrangement is further programmed and configured to generate an identification code, and wherein the central processor arrangement includes first and second processing modules being programmed and configured to use the identification code for accessing the transaction information.
- 11. For transaction processing involving transaction information related to offerings provided by one of a plurality of vendors and involving another entity, a transaction validation system for auditing comprising:a central processor arrangement programmed and configured to compare an authorized profile list criterion, that includes information about authorized users empowered to authorize payment from the vendor, to at least a portion of the transaction information; and the central processor arrangement also programmed and configured to maintain a credit authorization level for at least one of: an authorized profile in the authorized profile list criterion, and the other entity.
- 12. A transaction validation system, according to claim 11, wherein the central processor arrangement is further programmed and configured to generate an identification code for tracking and recalling the transaction information.
- 13. A transaction validation system, according to claim 11, wherein the central processor arrangement is further programmed and configured to generate an identification code for tracking and recalling the transaction information, the identification code corresponding to a first reference code provided by said one of a plurality of vendors and also corresponding to a second reference code provided by the other entity.
- 14. A transaction validation system, according to claim 11, wherein the central processor arrangement is further programmed and configured to decrease the credit authorization level in response to payment to said one of the plurality of vendors.
- 15. A transaction validation system, according to claim 11, wherein the central processor arrangement includes an issuing processor arrangement that is programmed and configured to authorize the payment from the vendor in response to the credit authorization level being sufficient.
- 16. For transaction processing involving transaction information related to offerings provided by one of a plurality of vendors and involving another entity, a transaction validation system for auditing comprising:programmable means for comparing an authorized profile list criterion, that includes information about authorized users empowered to authorize payment from the vendor, to at least a portion of the transaction information, and in response thereto, for effecting payment on behalf of the vendor to the other entity; and means for communicatively coupling the programmable means with at least one of the vendor and the other entity.
