Claims
- 1. A flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam prepared from a suspension comprising a polyol and a hydrophilic treated mineral filler, wherein, said treated mineral filler is produced by a process comprising treating a mineral filler with at least one treatment agent of the formula (I): where R1 is H, C8-C40 aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl radical; R2 is C8-C40 alkyl or C6-C40 aryl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl radical; X is —CH2—CH2—; Y is —CH(CH3)—CH2— or —CH2—CH(CH3)—; (m+n) is from 0 to 30, with m≦30 and n≦30; and (p+q) is from 0 to 30, with p≦30 and q≦30, said treated mineral filler remains hydrophilic when dispersed in the polyol and absorbs the polyol in an amount that is decreased by at least 15% by weight compared to the same mineral filler untreated, said treated mineral filler has a homogeneity factor (HF) of less than 0.2, where said homogeneity factor (HF) is measured using a 325 mesh size sieve in accordance with the NF X11-501 AFNOR standard, and is defined as: HF=(weight of the treated fillerthat remained on the sieve)(weight of the test sampleof the treated filler)-(weight of the nontreated fillerthat remained on the sieve)(weight of the test sample ofthe nontreated filler)a dry weight concentration of said treated mineral filler is up to 80 wt. % of the suspension, and said treatment agent is present in an amount of 0.5 to 3 wt. % based on the dry weight of the mineral filler.
- 2. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein the treatment agent is present in an amount of 0.7 to 1.5 wt. % based on the dry weight of the mineral filler.
- 3. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is selected from the group consisting of stearyl alcohol acid phosphate; poly (5)-oxyethylenated decyl alcohol acid phosphate; poly (4)-oxyethylenated, poly (3)-oxypropylated C13 alcohol acid phosphate; poly (10)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate; poly (17)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate; poly (30)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate; and poly (25)-oxyethylenated C32 alcohol acid phosphate.
- 4. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is stearyl alcohol acid phosphate.
- 5. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (5)-oxyethylenated decyl alcohol acid phosphate.
- 6. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (4)-oxyethylenated, poly (3)-oxypropylated C13 alcohol acid phosphate.
- 7. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (10)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate.
- 8. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (17)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate.
- 9. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (30)-oxyethylenated nonylphenol acid phosphate.
- 10. The flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1, wherein said treatment agent is poly (25)-oxyethylenated C32 alcohol acid phosphate.
- 11. A molded or non-molded object prepared from the flexible, semirigid or rigid polyurethane foam of claim 1.
