Claims
- 1. A method of treating a patient suffering from a psychotic disorder, which comprises administering to the patient a pharmaceutically effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of the formula ##STR22## wherein R is hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or dimethylamino, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, methyl or methoxy, and R.sup.5 is methyl, ethyl or vinyl, and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 2. A pharmaceutical composition which can be used as a psychotropic agent, comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of the formula ##STR23## wherein R is hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or dimethylamino, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, methyl or methoxy, and R.sup.5 is methyl, ethyl or vinyl, and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefor.
