1. Field of Invention
The present invention relates generally to anchoring devices driven into the ground, during anchoring operations. More specifically, the present invention is a single manufactured unit rod or pole capable of being driven into the ground for the purpose of securing items.
2. Discussion of the Prior Art
In some forms of securing devices that are driven into the ground, the device itself is not totally secured while in the ground and eventually slips out of ground.
However, in many other forms of anchor devices that are driven into the ground for anchoring or securing items is not adequate to maintain the strength of the anchoring device while extended the ground.
For instance, in some forms of anchoring device's with the device driven into the ground, a constant force is being applied to the device, which weakens the strength of the anchoring device while in the ground.
Throughout the years, a variety of methods have been designed for anchoring devices driven into the ground for securing items. None of these methods have been designed with barb's in order to maintain additional support while the anchor device is extended into the ground.
Similar anchoring devices have also been developed for securing items. For instance some anchor devices have been designed with grooves. Again, the design of the device is not for the purpose of maintaining a secure permanent position while extended into the ground.
Other anchor devices have been developed for ease of being driven into the ground and taken out of the ground but not necessarily for the purpose of maintaining a secure permanent position in the ground or the integrity of securing items to the apparatus.
Despite these efforts to provide suitable anchoring devices, the existing prior art anchoring devices are limited in many respects. Most notably, the prior art has not provided a single assembly that is capable of maintaining the integrity of the device while in the ground. Nor has the prior art provided barb's equally spaced and staggered for additional support while extended into the ground. Finally, the prior art is an anchoring device that is a single assembly designed to withstand the forces that are exerted when driven into the ground.
Thus, is an object of the present invention to provide an anchor device comprised of a rod with a tapered end and barb's extending upward from the central rod that are capable of providing additional support while in the ground and a nail head for ease of driving the apparatus into the ground.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide such an anchoring device that allows you to secure other items to this anchoring device while extended into the ground.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a device that is easy to manufacture using inexpensive and readily available materials.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an adequate nail head to drive the anchoring device into the ground with ease and to provide a means in order to remove the object from the ground.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide an adequate taper to drive the anchoring device into the ground with ease.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a durable and easy to manufacture device that is easy to use, and capable of being used for many different purposes of securing items to the apparatus.
These and a number of additional objects are obtained through the present invention. In a basic aspect, the present invention is an improved anchoring device. The apparatus comprises a central rod and barb's equally spaced and staggered extending outward and upward to maintain integrity of the hold while in the ground. A nail head for driving the device into the ground and a tapered end of the central rod designed to drive the device into the ground with ease and loops for securing items to the apparatus.
The apparatus is durable and easy to manufacture, using inexpensive and readily available materials. In addition, the apparatus is easy to use.
