Claims
- 1. An apparatus, comprising:
(a) a filter body dimensioned to fit within a trench drain and forming a reservoir obstructing at least a portion of said inlet; (b) a filter body support dimensioned and adapted to cooperatively engage with said trench drain and with said filter body to substantially maintain said filter body in a pre-selected position within said trench drain; and (c) one or more connectors removably connecting said filter body to said filter body support.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said filter body support comprises a support frame.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:
(d) a high flow bypass situated within said filter body support and capable of passing excess fluid during periods of high volume fluid flow.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 3, wherein said high flow bypass comprises one or more openings in the walls of said filter body support.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:
(d) one or more fluid displaceable adsorbent containers located within said filter body.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein at least one of said one or more fluid displaceable adsorbent containers contains chitosan.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein said fluid displaceable adsorbent containers comprise elongated booms filled with amorphous siliceous material.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein said booms are removably attached to the inner walls of said filter body.
- 9. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:
(d) one or more fluid directing fins located within one or more of said filter body and said filter body support.
- 10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said connectors comprise snap buttons attached both to said filter body and to said filter body support.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said filter body comprises a woven monofilament material.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said filter body support comprises one or more support flanges adapted for resting atop a trench drain surface.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said filter body support comprises one or more openings adapted for connecting said filter body support to a second separate filter body support.
- 14. An apparatus, comprising:
(a) a filter body dimensioned to fit within a trench drain and forming a reservoir obstructing at least a portion of said inlet; (b) a filter body support dimensioned and adapted to cooperatively engage with said trench drain and with said filter body to substantially maintain said filter body in a pre-selected position within said trench drain; (c) one or more connectors removably connecting said filter body to said filter body support; (d) a high flow bypass situated within said filter body support and capable of passing excess fluid during periods of high volume fluid flow; (e) one or more fluid displaceable adsorbent containers located within said filter body; and (f) one or more fluid directing fins located within one or more of said filter body and said filter body support.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said high flow bypass comprises one or more openings in the walls of said filter body support.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein at least one of said one or more fluid displaceable adsorbent containers contains chitosan.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said fluid displaceable adsorbent containers are removably attached to the inner walls of said filter body and comprise elongated booms filled with amorphous siliceous material.
- 18. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said connectors comprise snap buttons attached both to said filter body and to said filter body support.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said filter body comprises a woven monofilament material.
- 20. The apparatus of claim 14, wherein said filter body support comprises one or more support flanges adapted for resting atop a trench drain surface.
